“The gentleman was very attentive and kind. He was by far way more professional than any other dentists I’ve ever been too. I felt like he actually cared about my wellbeing. The second time I ever went to see him he actually remembered me even though it was almost 7 months later. His assistant was also very sweet. I have a one year old and this is the dentist I want taking care of her teeth.”

“Went for a walk in at 9am and was seen within 45 mins. Reception was organised and was seen by a lovely lady who took her time and got everything sorted within half an hour or so. Overall really good experience”

“GPS are brilliant. They are caring and straightforward. Felt supported. As long you're able to articulate you're health needs and know when you need a gp or urgent care or A&E the system works. The receptionist was kind, compassionate and listened to my concerns. Dr Rudd went out of her way to see my husband urgently, and he had the relevant tests done in a timely way to provide us with assurance. The phlebotomist (Lynn) was also lovely and slotted us in, despite this being a busy winter period. “Once you know the system with uk drs surgery phoning at 8am or online booking and ordering prescription online which is a bit tricky at first, the Dr or clinician will always phone me and receptionist if any problems So I can't complain. Everywhere is harder now, coming out of covid so just have to get use to the change.”

“They brought my daughter back from a very dark place within 6 weeks, still a small way to go but I am eternally grateful to al Doctors and carers. You have to be a special person to do this kind of work. Seen the other reviews but my experience is very positive, thought I had lost her. An addition to my review - if you have a relative or loved one that has a mental condition, medication is key. My daughter came back to me briefly but decided nothing was wrong so threw her medication away. That’s the biggest self destructive part about schizophrenia in whatever form it lands at your door, the patient thinks they’re fine it’s the rest of society that’s not well.”

“From travel vaccinations to routine appointments I’ve visited the practice on several occasions over the last few months and can only say the experience has been excellent. Antonella and Jane are warm, friendly and very efficient, can usually get an appointment within 10 days for non-urgent or same day if urgent. Maybe things were better in a mythical past but hard pressed to find a GP surgery offering much better at present when stretched. Have had very good telephone appointments that were on time for things that don’t need to be seen in person and effective, on time in-person appointments. I’d read the reviews before moving into the area and St. John’s was one of the few places accepting patients, naturally was a bit concerned. The reality is on recent experience, this is a very good GP practice where you CAN get an appointment. Unrealistic expectations of a stretched service do not provide a representative view of the practice.”

The problem is with their system, the working is very slow, long queues, they take a lot of time to prepare prescriptions and much more. Overall, it was good experience being there.”
