"We moved to Dartford 5 years ago and have been meaning to join a GP locally since. The terrible reviews in all GPs (it seems) local to us really put us off and we stayed with our GP in London. Since having a baby we had to take a leap of faith and register with one locally as it was unsafe and impractical not to. We joined Temple Hill Surgery a few months ago. Everything has been faultless since! The reception staff are polite and accomodating since day one. The doctors and nurses are thorough and friendly. The online system is perfect: we submit a form online with our appointment request and receive a text message practically on the same day confirming a time and date never waiting on the phone to speak to someone. We are really happy with this surgery and unless something has drastically changed in the running of things recently we do not understand previous reviews."

"I don't often ring the doctors (no matter who I'm with) because I just prefer to sort myself out and not bother people.. I have a throat infection and a 7 month old so I definitely needed help, it took about an hour to get through to the surgery purely because the phones were so busy I couldn't even get into the queue but that isn't the surgeries fault. The receptionist I spoke to was extremely lovely and friendly, I explained my symptoms etc. And she listened politely, even let me ramble on about not expecting an answer as I was 3rd in the queue! Not once did I have any problems or any rudeness at all and I was told a doctor would contact me later this morning and had a polite goodbye as well. A doctor called me roughly an hour later, was extremely polite and helpful and shared a laugh with me! Overall I cannot fault temple hill surgery at all, they have been nothing but helpful to me today and the times me and my partner took out son to them for checkups /evil needles they were always polite then as well. I get everyone is stressed these days but compassion on both sides is a must, you may think you're being polite but understand it might not come across like that and instead of assuming the receptionists are rude try seeing their side of it as well."

"Appointment system is unorganised, receptionists are not sure how to make an appointment for the following day or for a certain time of the day. Often stuff is unavailable to answer the phone and therefore it is nearly impossible to make an appointment. Doctor is very rude and don't really dry to learn about your condition and rushing you on, that is if you managed to get an appointment at all. I was told that I could only discuss one symptom during the appointment and for each symptom I need to make an new appointment. Unfortunately this surgery is not fit for purpose and getting worse as time goes on. Patient care seems to be that their last priority."

"Useless. Never get through. Always 10 people waiting before I get through. Supposed to have annual health assessment. They have cancelled my appointments on 3 occasions and get in contact 6 months later. Also diagnosis for my recent illness was made over phone which was wrong diagnosis. Rubbish surgery. Avoid at all costs."
