“This centre is a great community venue with two meeting rooms - one large and one small with capacity to open up to even larger space. Great training suite, kitchen facilities and the centre manager was really lovely and helpful.”

“A lovely old fashioned b&b right on Hyde park. The room was as described and clean. The breakfast is adequate but the room itself is drafty. The staff is very warm and friendly. The stairs and corridors creak but it's vintage!”

“Massive variety of classes, including well known folk you'll recognise from other London dance studios. Classes are often 90 minutes (at cheaper prices!), so you get more of a chance to learn the choreo. People pay before class (no door fee, just class fee) so teachers don't have to stop teaching to collect money from people. Since opening they've fixed the remaining bits and pieces - there are benches in change rooms now and mirrors in the studios don't get misty any more! No showers though.”

“We hired Acton Gardens Community Centre for our team away day. Kosser and colleagues were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on the day, despite the fact we were 130 people with a packed schedule that we had to get through! The centre has lovely airy rooms and great technology facilities so it was incredible value given how nice it was. Thanks for having us!”

“This is a very historic yet humble place, reflecting the origins of the area, it's geography (a valley between the nearby hills), how it adapts to community needs and withstands tides of times and changes of ideology. It is a polling station, an adults services, kids taekwondo, and an auxiliary to a nearby Weston Park Primary, and a birthday and a wedding venue. It had been a family-friendly public restroom for users of Stationers Park (always clean, stocked and tidy) (though occasionally the doors are locked), source of fruit-veg deliveries from nearby farms to urban dwellers, and a habitat of gnomes. The only thing it does not do is clean the dog poo from the streets and host a dog toilet.”

“Always an interesting free exhibition in the foyer. Cafe also open Mon - Fri during the day serving main meals and snacks. Friendly owner”

“Great venue for holding classes, parties and even some churches use it for hire on a Sunday. Community Fridge during the week where you can go and get donated food in order to cut down on food wastage. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Would recommend”

“My kids have been attending the after school club for several months now and they love it. The main questions they ask are Why have you picked us up so early and Why can't we go every day. The facilities are great with loads of internal and external space. Comms with the team is good and the ability to add extra evenings online is helpful.”

“This centre is big place for any occasion: from birthday parties to sports classes. Before few years when the Charville library was closed, I had my Maths classes there. Inside has a bar and a big space with many tables.”

“It’s a lovely great open space. Theres a designated kids playground with climbing frames and swings. Theres also football pitches and basketball courts.”

“I rented out the Hopkins hall for my sons first birthday party. The hall was a good size for a small party and had a kitchen attached which we were able to use. I was in constant communication with the Hall Manager who was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions quickly. I would 100% reccomend this to anyone who needs it. Thank you again, we had an amazing time!”

“The centre is a essential part of the community with kind, giving and welcoming staff with an open door policy. They are always hosting a great range of creative and educational activities for people in the area, working hard to make sure the best environment is created.”

“Spacious place that can be used for different functions. It has a big enough kitchen, a very large stage with dressing rooms and toilets for men and women. I must be honest and say that the female toilets would do well with some renovation. My husband agrees that renovation in the male toilet would also be good. The place also have the sound system ready, just need some speaks to add to it that any customer can bring. Another great feature of this venue is its large car park, so convenient!! I also have to say that the location is very good. Quite road in Tottenham. To praise the care takers that are very helpful. Have used for 2 main family functions and it still is my first choice for any large family function.”

“A lovely centre and a jewel for the local community. I was invited to run a hula hoop workshop there and I had the pleasure to meet the staff and some of the members! You can sense the community spirit as soon as you enter this space and it's something I cherish a lot! Thank you for all your work!”

“Lovely little park for kids to have a quick 15min run around. Nice to see something different this place use to be old storage blocks for residents. Nows it's a lively place to take dogs for a walk play basketball or football ride your bike. Local to shops nursery's schools and community centre”
