“Great prices! Knowledgable staff! I first went here for a bike pump after trying the bike shop next door and being quoted minimum £80 for a bike pump! Went in got a dual cylinder pump for crazy cheap price! Its a great shop, can park right outside, its on a bus route too! Been there since to get chisels, a couple drill bits and something else ive forgotten, all for such a great price its been wonderful! I do like screwfix but its also nice to get a few pieces for just a great price, that just do the job! Staff know their stuff, ive walked in explained in detail what i wanted and theyve immediately said yes or no and when its a yes ( most of the time ) where to find it. Some shops now like a wickes or b and q, if you ask for even a type of hinge they stare blankly at you, but this place is good :) Recommended!”

And all the facilities in the building are well maintained including good access control to building,floor and the room. The room has all the basic facilities required and I am amazed at how brilliantly the kitchen area is setup with all basic requirements without making it look clumsy. I am enjoying my stay. “Thank you Kinghams. I have just received the most amazing, above and beyond service imaginable. I was in East Croydon for highly distressing personal reasons (to appear as a witness in Family Court) when a wheel bearing went in my Subaru. The AA (who I had called) highly recommended Kinghams, then escorted me there. They thought they could it relatively easily and that I’d be able to travel on down to Cornwall to visit my son and grandchildren who I haven’t seen for a year. . Sadly, the more they looked at the car the more problems they found. I was kept informed (so efficiently by video film) and difficulties arose because of the well-publicised shortage of parts. They eventually fixed my problems by bastardising one of their new, for-sale cars leaving it unsaleable until September when the parts can be replaced by Subaru. This is almost unimaginable service. They were kind, courteous, informative and great in every way. They have eventually managed a top class job of getting my car safely back on the road. I am never-endingly grateful and when I win the Lottery will make an ex-gratia payment which can be used as wanted. Thank you again, Kinghams,”
