I was far more worried than Murphy but the staff really put me at ease. Murphy breezed through his op and made a completely full recovery within 12 weeks thanks to Alex who is unbelievably skilled. The fact that Murphy still enjoys visiting the Practice speaks volumes. I cannot recommend Alex, and the nurses highly enough. Thank you all.”

“I had a Bi-Lobectomy at Harefield hospital July 2nd 2020. Although a terrifying time i was made to feel very relaxed by all the incredible attentive and caring staff. Everthing was done very professionally and in good order. After the operation I was in Cedar 2 ward. The only downside was the occasional beeping of some of the monitors but other than that a peaceful and relaxing ward with lovely views of trees and the grounds. All the Nurses in the ward were very Friendly and nothing was a problem. The ward, shower and toilet areas were all immaculately clean. Even iss who did the catering/cleaning had wonderful staff who cheerfully cleaned and took orders for meals and drinks and delivered them. The food all in all was excellent! If you are having an operation at Harefield don't worry you are in VERY good hands.”

I saw my consultant in the outpatients department, everything went really well. I want to give special thanks to Sarah who was so supportive and kind, it really made such a difference to me. He has been consistently helpful and has my eternal thanks! Chelsfield Hospital is a small place with a big heart. Good food/menu choices are equal to many hotels and served by great people, all of them supportive and help through the many choices. Hope to go home soon but have fond memories of the staff here.”

“I came to Themis the physiotherapist in the summer suffering from Beverly bad episodes of lower back pain. I did a ct scan, MRI’s, multiple osteopathy and acupuncture but nothing was helping. I saw lots of specialists who diagnosed different things which didn’t leave me with many answers. I came to Themis crying a very sceptical that it would ever end. After 3 months of intense sessions together with Pilates twice a week, he managed to reduce the episodes to zero and now I have zero pain. Really recommend doing this and persisting!! He is also very nice and friendly and it is very comfortable and therapeutic coming to the sessions. Thank you Themis for everything!”

“Maternity review Excellent maternity care. I have had high risk pregnancies and the Consultants (Kate Harding, Anna Smith who have seen me) are amazing. The sonographers are really good too, kept me well informed through scans. I have had an awful experience at another hospital in the UK for maternity and changed back to St Thomas' straight away I felt well looked after and the midwives are really experienced (I was looked after by the wonderful Thames team). Would really recommend for maternity care. Thank you so much for all you go through to look after your patients.”

“A very good experience across a number of visits. A relative of mine had their Hip replaced here, it was a completely different encounter to their NHS hip replacement. The surgery itself was far better, much less after care needed, anaesthetist was way better and they were home sooner. I've also been in on a couple of visits and it works like a well-oiled machine, hardly any waiting around. Such a shame NHS hospitals cant function as well as these places. It serves illustrate just how much reform the entire NHS needs if we want to repair it, money is not the magic bullet, the problems lie far deeper and are definitely not a simple.”
