“Fantastic pub, drank in there for many years, seen land lords/ land lady's come and go. Jo and Dee who have had it for the last fews years have made some massive changes. No food served there, but have a walk up Billinge hill and call in for a refresher or just call in.”

“I have been here a couple of times before, and love the quirky interior. But the Christmas atmosphere was just lovely!! No loud music where you can't hear yourself speak, just a lovely mix of old tunes playing in the background! Great end to a day of shopping!!”

“Called for an afternoon pint and some food today. Food was amazing and fresh. The home cooked ultimate burger and fries was really nice. My wife had chicken and bacon salad which was fresh and very tasty. Staff were very nice and the owners are amazing. Great local pub, nice cold pint and lovely homemade pub grub.”

“Love our sunday roast. But would like mash potatoes and softer cooked veg. Also cauliflower cheese would be nice. But the meat melts in ya mouth gravy like home made. Staff amazing nothing too much trouble. Nice nice and friendly. Luv it. X”

“Me and my pear shaped wife thought it would be a good idea to go to the pear Inn. We both wore a nice pair of shoes and nice clothes. We ordered our starter, of pickled pear and our waiter mr Pearson made our visit go pear shaped. Horrible service”
