Ellesmere Inn Wigan
“I went to the pub after a funeral. The land lord and lady were very welcoming and friendly, the pub was small but clean, the food was home made potato pie with either pickled red cabbage or beetroot there was also a good mix of sandwiches. You could have either soft drinks or alcohol.”
The Little Kitchen Wigan Ltd.
“What a great little place. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The food is great and the atmosphere is lovely too. There's a bit where kids can play if you need that. It's not too pricey at all and the food is absolutely delicious. There's a really great menu too. We just had sandwiches, a club and a fish finger butty. This was all great. Can't wait to come back and try other stuff. Will definitely be coming again. Thank you so much. Really enjoyed it.”

The Red Robin - Pub & Carvery
“Went for a Sunday carvery. Food was amazing in relation to the amount and variety. Three meats to choose from with three types of potatoes and six different vegetables. All the trimmings available too. No waiting time, food hot and staff very friendly. Well worth the money and you can go large but more than enough on the medium tariff.”
The Old Band House
“The food is incredible the service is fantastic. We booked upstairs for a birthday with a party of 30 people and the staff here wasn't fazed or overwhelmed in the slightest. Dealing with Karim the week prior was a pleasure and he couldn't help us enough. On the night itself Sam and the staff was brilliant and made sure our meal ran smoothly and our experience was perfect. If you're looking to book for a party or just a super tasty meal, we couldn't recommend this place enough. We will be returning without a doubt!!”

The H Taphouse
“Fantastic little craft ale bar in Ashton. The beer on offer was fantastic with lots of variety from hazy ipas to chocolate stouts. All the beers are from very good local brewerys such as Track and Pomona which you only normally see in craft ale bars in Manchester and city centres. The atmosphere was great and the bar staff were great fun and very welcoming. Liam was the bar staff who looked after us and was able to cater for all our ale needs as well as our sporting needs ...gladly putting the football match on for us to watch. The beers we had were fantastic and clearly the owner and landlord knows how to keep his beer and delivered with what was a great afternoon out at H taphouse. Thankyou guys ...We will be back very soon.”
