“This hotel is simply amazing. We stayed in the Kingsroom which is by far the best hotel room we have stayed in, the finer details and the decor of the room is simply phenomenal. Now moving onto the food - we have dined at some of the top restaurants in East Yorkshire and this place for both dinner and breakfast is definitely in that bracket. The chef clearly has spent lots of time perfecting this menu and you can clearly tell - I also believe the menu we tried is a new menu for Autumn which was superb ( Loved the Pheasant special to start and the Fillet of Beef for Main). Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for dinner, a few nights away or an event! In addition to the above, the staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay/dinner/breakfast is absolutely perfect.”

“My 4 dogs have been boarding at Leconfield Kennels over the years. The staff are lovely, they really care for your pets, giving them plenty of love. What shows most of all though, is how excited my dogs are whenever I drop them off to stay! They literally run through the doors knowing exactly where they are! So highly recommend for sure!”

“Wonderful, warm welcome from Graham and Cheryl. The room was clean with a welcome pack including biscuits. En-suite shower with good supply of toiletries and moisturiser. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The location is great, free parking and on a quiet street but central to the beach and shops. Lisa and Sarah did a lovely job of maintaining the room and were happy to help. Smiles, friendly and would definitely recommend.”

“Just spent a lovely and relaxing weekend at Spring Valley with my wife, adult daughter and doggies, staying in the Stables cottage conversion. We found the Stables comfortable, homely and clean and very much intend to stay there again over the coming months. The site was small and compact but peaceful and scenic. Just the kind of thing place we like. We loved the fact that there were lots of birds, geese, turkey and ducks wandering about the site and swimming on the fishing pond, and even had a nest of baby swifts just near the entrance to the door. The parents were very patient with us being there and were fun to watch while discretely sitting in the car. We had a concrete patio which, with careful parking of the car and the use of the outside tables and chairs, we managed to create a safe area where we could sit outside with the dogs and enjoy a glass of wine (or two). The staff were very friendly and informative and everyone we met while we were seemed very nice. Highly recommended.”

“Absolutely one of the best places I've ever stayed. Fantastic owner, food is delicious and such a great good old fashioned public house. We're definitely coming here again. Just a very short walk from the town over the foot bridge and it feels like your miles away from the bustle and in a great friendly homely pub xx”

“I've been here a week, and they could not have been nicer. Delicious breakfast arranged for me despite having to leave early in the morning (all set with a the fridge in the dining room) The pool area is bliss, meaning I could really relax. Everyone I came into contact with was delightful and nothing was any bother. Sorry to Ian (owner), but John gets the top marks for arranging the booking and making all so easy! So lucky to get another night here: hurrah!”

“Absolutely fantastic we haven't had a relaxing break like raywell country park since Wales. Couldn't ask for more it's a stunning location with outstanding lodges loved the welcome packs and woodland walks squirrels ducks and Robins greeting you throughout the day. “Staying with my sister in her new caravan. Brett in sales has been most helpful and the team all seem friendly. It is well maintained and has really good facilities on site; Play area, cafe, shop , laundrette, club house and pub. Lovely walks and so close to Mappleton and Hornsea. Reasonable site fees too.”

“We recently had our Golden Retriever, Max, stay at Home From Home while we were getting married. So we took advantage of their wedding package! We are SO happy we did! The team at HFH were amazing in sorting this out for us… Max was brought down to the venue and had been bathed and brushed, and he looked amazing! Sam, one of the workers was more than happy to help us with getting our photos, all whilst taking care of Max between shots. He stayed the night in their Cherry Lodge which we were given camera access to.. such a great touch! When we picked Max up the following day, he was as happy as ever and had clearly been brilliantly looked after during his time with them. We will 100% be using HFH again if he ever needs a place to stay! And we fully recommend their wedding package to anyone getting married who wants their dog chaperoned for photos on your big day!”

“Proper italian food and very reasonably priced. Food is always cooked to perfection and nothing gets missed or forgotten about. Very welcoming and polite staff. Me and my partner visit here at least twice a month and we love it.”

“We had food at the Railway Inn and it was lovely. The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. The restaurant is kept clean and tidy to a high level. I'm very impressed with the whole experience. I have not stayed in the guest rooms so can't comment about those. But if the restaurant has anything to go by they'll be great too.”

“Go to Beverley on Saturdays for food shopping and general window shopping. Always try to call in here for a pint on the way home. Lovely traditional pub selling excellent ales, one day we will make an effort to get there early to try the food. If you are looking for a traditional English pub you must give this place a try”

“Amazing restaurant! We had the Taste of Scilly menu to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we got married at San Pietro which was also amazing. The hotel is really nice too and excellent value for money as it's very luxurious for the price!”
