"Just spent a lovely and relaxing weekend at Spring Valley with my wife, adult daughter and doggies, staying in the Stables cottage conversion. We found the Stables comfortable, homely and clean and very much intend to stay there again over the coming months. The site was small and compact but peaceful and scenic. Just the kind of thing place we like. We loved the fact that there were lots of birds, geese, turkey and ducks wandering about the site and swimming on the fishing pond, and even had a nest of baby swifts just near the entrance to the door. The parents were very patient with us being there and were fun to watch while discretely sitting in the car. We had a concrete patio which, with careful parking of the car and the use of the outside tables and chairs, we managed to create a safe area where we could sit outside with the dogs and enjoy a glass of wine (or two). The staff were very friendly and informative and everyone we met while we were seemed very nice. Highly recommended."
