"I Have Been A Patient Of this facility for a few years now,Having Breast Cancer and Servere Anemia,I have to go often for Infusion or Shots to keep my Iron levels good.So Today 02/07/2024 was my worst experience there.Arrived at 10:45 am By Medical Transportation ,So long story short.1:00 pm I was finally seen.TICKET NOT put in for my Appointment.But Instead of it All Dr.BALARAMANS gave me GOOD news…And I thank her Nurse Assistant for Apologizing for the long wait …I blame the front desk…"

"One of the rudest doctors offices I’ve been to. My mother and I are both patients and the lady’s who schedule and answer phones are always rude to us. I was going for a year with no answers they just kept taking blood and nothing was getting done. I eventually had to switch doctors and when I called about getting records switched they gave me more attitude. I’m younger and this was a scary experience going to an oncologist so I wish they treated me better."

"My fiancé and I received a referral to this place from our primary care doctor at village medical. This referral was to get his iron levels up as they were dangerously low and required hospitalization previously. The initial staff seemed okay enough and we met with our doctor, Dr.Vasudevan. This was in July. We were told by her that once we received authorization from our insurance he will receive iron infusions either twice or three times. Then, she wanted his labs to be done 9/5/23 again and a follow up visit on 9/12/23. Well, our insurance was giving us more of a tough time than anticipated. It took me the entire month of august to get that sorted. In the meantime, I called this office weekly informing them we may need to reschedule until I could fix things with the insurance. I called a total of six times as they specify on the voicemail not to call except every three days. I was never given a call back despite my last three voicemails basically begging them to cancel because I still had not straightened things out on the insurance side. Well, as you can see above we never heard a word from them and I’m extremely irritated about it. Not only is my fiancé not receiving the infusions he needs, we haven’t been given the courtesy of a single call back in basically five weeks. I have never had a doctors office take this long to call me back. If we didn’t live almost 40 minutes away one way, and we both didn’t work full time, I would happily just go in and try to sort this out face to face. If I don’t receive a call within the next few days I guess we will forced to go elsewhere and start this whole nightmare over again."

"Just recently had a visit with nurse practitioner Lilian Aguila concerning the start of my chemo. She is a very informative professional in her field. She will answer all your questions and concerns and make you feel like you are a patient she cares about. I like her comment when she gave me a packet and said I put this packet together for you with love and pray it helps you. That just made the rest of my day a good day. Now to me that is class A medical care. And happy to know if I need her help to navigate this difficult journey I got her in my corner.. Ocala oncology is lucky to have her."

"My husband was diagnosed with cancer late last year 2021. Florida Cancer Affiliates have been top of everything from the beginning. All tests well explained and print out given before we left from our first visit. All our questions are answered in a timely manner and people who don't try to better understand the system will feel like they were forgotten. We don't do a lot online so not having access to computer is not a problem. They care for hundreds of patients. So, patience is a must for anyone being treated by thus facility. Stay on top of your own insurance and know your rights. You will achieve your goal. Any problem we had was addressed promptly. We are thankful they were all supportive during this hard time in our lives. Thank you all for the hard job and hard work you do dealing with inpatient patients."
