It’s an easy walk to Wynwood, the hippest neighborhood in Miami, and the design district, the most expensive shopping in Miami. Four stars because they charge a resort fee, which covers what 99% of what other hotels provide for free. There’s no breakfast, but plenty of restaurants nearby."

"Dear Hyde Hotel Management, VALET PARKING I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding my recent valet parking experience at your hotel. While my check-in experience was great, the valet parking incident left a sour taste in my mouth and warrants attention. Upon my arrival at the front of the hotel, I proceeded to leave my car with the valet, as is customary. However, I was taken aback when the valet mentioned that they could only provide me with a valet ticket if I could share a US mobile phone number for receiving an electronic ticket. The requirement for a US cell phone number raised significant concerns for me. As an international traveler, I, like many others, do not possess a US cell phone number. It is common for guests to come from all over the world to stay at hotels in international cities, such as yours. Given this international clientele, it seems impractical and unfair to expect guests to have a US cell phone number for such a basic service as valet parking. The inability to provide a valet ticket without a US number not only creates an inconvenience but also raises security concerns. Guests should not be expected to leave their car keys without receiving any proof or ticket in return, especially when they lack access to a US mobile number. I urge you to reconsider this policy and make necessary adjustments to ensure a more inclusive and convenient experience for your international guests. A simple solution, such as providing physical valet tickets or alternative means of identification, would go a long way in improving the guest experience and maintaining the reputation of Hyde Hotel as a welcoming destination for travelers from around the world. "Excellent check in with friendly and professional front desk staff. Centrally located in the middle of midtown and walking distance to awesome restaurants and cafes. Starbucks on the corner and a Target store across the park. Valet was prompt and courteous with our vehicle. The room is clean and although we probably had the worst location, immediately in-front of the elevator and next to the housekeeping closet we were not disturbed by any noise. Facing the street with a city view and on a busy Friday night we slept soundly. Cold ac, good water pressure and tasty lavazza espresso in room. Pool was sparkling and the restaurant looked awesome. For what I consider a value hotel you definitely get what you pay for and more. I would recommend and return."
