Holiday Inn Miami North – I-95, an IHG Hotel

"Checked in, we had a 10 month old. I asked for a pack in play and they said they had it on website. However we asked for one, they didn't have any. I asked lady for extra bedding and pillow and nothing. I think this place is going under. Had to pay for breakfast. Server took my order then came over 10 minutes later asked if I wanted the check. We had to put our baby on a bed and put pillows around. Rooms had bugs inside them. Please don't stay here!"

"The first impression before entering the hotel wasn't great, it's not in a great neighborhood. However, there is a security on duty, so I still feel safe in the parking lot. During our stay, they are redoing the flooring in the Lobby area, therefore, only 1 working elevator, it can take a few minutes to wait for an elevator. Let's go with the positive stuff. The hotel looks really new, might be recently remodel. The room is super Spacious. We got an accessible Queen room, my goodness, never been in a big hotel room as this one. Once I open the door of the room, don't even see any sign of the beds, I was a bit confused at first if we entered into an empty room. LoL. Overall, our stay was great!"

"This is the worst holiday inn i every been. I definitely would never stay here again. First of all the location is very dangerous. Homeless people, and crackheads all around the place. As an IHG rewards member, they would not give you any of your benefits. The place is old and unclean. . I got no sleep because the hotel is 500 feet away from I-95. People walking up and down talking all night in the hallways."

"We were so impressed with the staff at this location. Kimberly was so helpful and took care of our luggage after our flight was changed and we showed up early. The housekeeping staff readied a room for us quickly and the manager, was a lovely woman who helped us check in early and was very clearly involved in the every day tasks of running the hotel. Seriously, the manager was always on her feet, fixing problems, making people comfortable and just overall really caring about us. Everyone on staff here deserves a raise."

"The front desk was nice and friendly. The room was neat as we arrived as well as the bathroom and the AC was also working and easy to adjust. There was always parking spaces no matter the time we came and it felt safe. I just wouldn’t hang outside the hotel. There was enough hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.The reason why I did not give five star is because the first night and last morning of our stay the hotel door was locked and we couldn’t come out. We had to wait for maintenant to force it open because it keeps getting stuck. Which took time away from our morning schedule. The other mornings it was hard to open it but I had to use my strength to really pull it and then there was those mornings it just wouldn’t open. The last thing I didn’t like is they don’t change the bed sheets or clean the bathrooms. They just take out trash, redo the beds, and change the towels and toiletries. We saw same stains like make up and hair that was in the bed when we came back to the hotel which shows they did not change the beds."
