"I thought about applying for a unit here however received a change of heart after management made me feel like the only visitors I could have would have to be family I have many friends my family don't live in Marion County or visit often living on this property would leave me alone, bitter and lonely. Good luck too the people with what it takes to make it in a unit there."

"Am a senior tenant here at Oak Valley. I've been here since April. Although I procrastinated. I'm here. It was a process with the application and the building ongoing inspections. Thanks to Brenda my final process was remarkable. Sometimes our delays is God plan for patience to receive a blessing. Although I have some negative and positive views but overall am satisfied. Being in your own space is what matters most in your latter years. The grounds are well kept and parking secure lights and within all the other amenities. My issues was fixed when asked. I believe if there's any ongoing problems they'll be resolved. Realistically we have a lot compared to price range and other residential areas. Am just bless to be here."

"My parents applied to this place in November of 2021, I served as a cosigner for them. They were told it would be finished in December or January. I have about 100 emails of communications back and forth with extra information required with the community manager of that moment, in January she stopped replying to my messages (left). In March the District Manager sends me another email saying that the opening day was targeted for April of 2022 and that I have to resubmit every single document again. We had to guarantee that their income would not chance for the next 6-12 months, I told them that now my parents were about to look for a job and we could not know what income they would have in the next months. Since it was not because they were backing up from a contract signed in November of 2021 but because condition MAY change after April of 2022, they would not qualify, but the district manager (B) refused to return their deposit and mine as co-signer. My parents do not speak English well, my mom called from Mrs. B office and put me on speaker phone for me to translate the information to the manager. I hear her clearly shouting, "I'm not talking to her and you guys need to leave now!" in an extremely rude manner. I have endlessly called the Housing Trust Group (developer) to report these unprofessional actions and to obtain our deposit back. "press __ for customer service" no one answers and no voice mail available either. I hope they take seriously these reviews and get back to me or return the deposit to my parents."

"I started out with Erin who was most helpful with the application and acceptance and even gave me my apartment number. However, I understand she is no longer with the company and an equally professional lady, Brenda, is not the Manager. I have not spoken with her nor do I wish to contact the office since she must be very busy before move in. Today is March 18th but I have not received word as to the date for occupancy, has anyone an update? I assume it will be prior to April 01. Looking forward to a wonderful facility with equally wonderful residents. Ron I am now a resident of Oak Valley and all I can say is WOW! This place is incredible. The common rooms are gorgeous, beautiful furniture and wall hangings and there is a "Gathering Area" on each floor in addition to the larger common areas. I have a 2/2 which is very large, really nice wood floors, soft-closing doors on all cabinets. A shower in one bathroom and a bathtub in the other, lots of light and ice maker plus large washer and dryer in each unit. The pool is large and there are many other amenities for the residents. Two huge elevators mean no waiting ever and there is plenty of well lit parking. Though we do not have a permanent Manager at this time, Brenda, the Regional Manager and her associate Savanah are doing outstanding work, are extremely helpful and always cheerful. The maintenance man, Frankie is top notch, 5 star, awesome and so very helpful and a man that appears to be able to do anything. If you are fortunate enough to reside here I can't see how there could possibly be anything to complain about. It's more like living in a 5 star hotel. I have found the residents to be friendly and helpful. We come from different ethnic backgrounds and there is a beautiful mix of Blacks Hispanics, and Caucasians. We are new and have not had an opportunity for any sort of group gathering, but that will come in time. I'm sure I echo the thoughts and feelings of all who live at Oak Valley. Finally, we are close to everything. Sunway is just a block away, and less than a mile there is a Wendy's, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Zacks, large and quiet inexpensive grocery store and a host of other places like the Dollar Store, gas stations and so much more. "I have been extremely pleased with the process of getting accepted into Oak Valley and look forward to moving in this coming month. I am also excited to learn we will have a Pickleball court too ! The regional manager, Brenda, is a true professional in this business and I am glad to know she will be here for us as we prepare to get set up in our new facility !!"
