Hillend Pet Hotel
● Closed“Our 6-month old kitten loved it there and it was his first stay at a cattery ever. It is not only a nice pet hotel with friendly owners, but also almost a theme park for cats - plenty of climbing space and activities in each cat enclosure. The price is very reasonable. The owners are very caring and gave our kitten his own food in his own bowls which we brought and his probiotic as needed. We will certainly call again.”

We Love Animals - Cat Sitters, Dog Walkers & Pet Care Services - Edinburgh
● Open“Angela has looked after my kitty for two years and has been absolutely incredible with her. Arya has behavioural issues and needs daily meds; Angela was amazing with persevering giving these to her despite the occasional cat attack! Angela's service is amazing value for the amount of care you get - I'm nervous about leaving my pet so I get daily texts with photos. Plus free plant watering etc, and when there's been a flurry of fur Angela has even vacuumed so there's not a mess to come home to. I'm sorry to have moved away from Edinburgh as I'm sure I won't find another cat sitter as caring and thoughtful (and who my notoriously suspicious cat will trust!) as Angela. 10/10 recommend!”

BoConcept Edinburgh
● Closed“Had a great experience with BoConcept Edinburgh recently! I’ve been struggling with the layout of a small living area and didn’t quite know which way to go. I initially popped in to check out sofas in the sale and had a great chat in store with Ellen. She offered to mock up a few layouts to help me visualise the options and we spoke about budget and general colours/styles. I sent in a few pictures and the key dimensions and then had a short consultation with her in store which was really helpful as she’d pre-selected some great options which were laid out ready to discuss. She’d clearly listened and picked items, colours & fabrics to suit my tastes and budget (using them cleverly) and even hunted down an ex-display chair for me to keep in budget! Felt listened to, really well looked after, supported not pressured and have a much better result than I’d have achieved on my own and feel like I’ve got great value. Add in an interest free credit option and it’s a great service for some very smart stuff. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Ellen, you were super!”

Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity, Grassmarket, Edinburgh
● Open“The hotel was beautiful and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size, with an amazing view of the castle. Highlight of the hotel was how incredibly comfortable the bed was, and the blackout blinds giving us near complete darkness any time of day, best sleep I’ve had in ages. Special thanks to Oliwia for giving us some great recommendations for night life in our arrival. We really appreciated the special touches, the hotel staff took a flower delivery for me before our arrival and placed it in our room for us, and the availability of umbrellas in the room and the hotel lobby was much appreciated. 10/10 would stay again.”

Cheval The Edinburgh Grand
● Open“We stayed in the gorgeous penthouse suite for two nights, before and after our wedding in July. The rooms were elegant and spotless; housekeeping did an incredible job of preparing the rooms for us. It was the perfect place to get ready for the wedding and to celebrate our day in luxurious surroundings! The views from the balcony are probably some of the best in the city - truly stunning. The views inside the hotel, from their grand stairwell balconies, are very special too! The day after our wedding, we held a brunch for our guests (around 30 people) in the Games Room. The brunch, served buffet style, was incredible! It had every element of a Scottish breakfast, plus much more. It even had choices for our vegan and gluten-free guests. The service was wonderful. A big thank you to all the staff at the Cheval, and a special thanks to Barbara for coordinating our stay and event.”

Dakota Edinburgh
● Open“My husband and I had a lovely over night stay! The hotel is beautiful, and the room we had was just stunning (executive double). Staff are absolutely fantastic, very professional and nothing was too much bother. We had dinner, and again this was faultless. The calamari and prawn starter was delicious. My husband had the ribeye (rare) and I had the fillet (medium) for the main course. We both agreed the fillet was outstanding, and the wine list to match the steaks was great. We then had desserts, which were thoroughly enjoyed. The seating areas within the bar and lobby are beautiful, and was a great space for a night cap before bed. We will definitely return to this hotel and recommend to others.”

voco Edinburgh - Haymarket, an IHG Hotel
● Open“Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a clean hotel - I used to be a housekeeper and was very impressed! The staff were super helpful and efficient and there was always someone on hand to help. We had breakfast on the last morning which was lovely and had a lot of options. We were on the fifth floor and had a lovely view from our room - air con/heater worked well and we could also open the window slightly which was great. The bed was comfy and huge - my boyfriend is 6’4 so this was a big plus! Everything we wanted to do/see was maximum a 35/40 min walk away which was perfect for us and meant we didn’t need to use any public transport! Would deffo stay here again :)”
