“I started the journey of the helmet with my daughter at 6 months. Doctor, nurses etc. would say it is normal, it will get better but the fact was there was a severe asymmetry and flat head, due to birth. No exercise, or osteopathy treatment helped. We went to Belfast in 2022, before Bray office open. The service was great, they did not try to sell it to us, on the contrary. Truth is, most people in Ireland have a flat head if they shave, it does not come back by miracle. Having a helmet is difficult decision at first, it cost money but at the end of the day we were so glad to have done it. Our baby head is so amazing now, it also protected her during her first steps and give her an amazing style for 6 months. The cost is one of a life investment that you have NO regrets after. That was the best gift we could do to our daughter as it is for lifetime. No lies, the commitment is hard, you have to got to the clinic every month which means time out of work, the first days the baby is not used and you panic when you have to put or remove the helmet, if you travel you are afraid of the heat or the cold...but you can go for it.”
