“Today we took our cavapoo for a haircut. She went in looking like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards and came out looking a lady. Her haircut is wonderful and makes her beautiful yet not fussy ! Before the cut we were asked what we wanted and all our asks were taken care of. The ladies that work there are really nice and kind. Our dog was obviously comfortable and had been well looked after in their care. The shop itself is well stocked with really nice quality stuff. Thanks very much for giving Merlin a super make over !!!”

“We took our puppy Max to Lavender Garden dog training. Max had great time, made lots of friends and with out knowing learnt along the way. Sian is a lovely trainer with lots of knowledge, she was very helpful with any question you may have and happy to send emails with extra advise if needed. All round a lovely, friendly experience. My daughter, myself and Max would definitely recommend these class.”

“Rebecca and her team provide absolutely top-class care for our cats and dog. She is always happy to help, and bends over backwards to help make a solution for our complicated work schedule. This has included very late and very early drop offs, picking up the pets from our house and sorting out care at extremely short notice. The staff really enjoy their time with our pets, getting to know them really well and I have every confidence that they are always cared for like precious family members. I have often asked advice from the dog walkers/boarders and they do all of this at a very reasonable price. Could not ask for more and would thoroughly recommend.”

“I popped in on Thursday to find a harness to fit my dog who has broken her neck, the lady who assisted me couldn't have been more helpful!! I had my hands full carrying my dog whilst pushing my 3 month old granddaughter in her pram!! The lady showed my various harnesses and assisted me in fitting them. May was very happy with all the fuss and attention she received. Thankyou for making my day alot easier!!”

“I took my 18 week old German Shepherd puppy to Pets & Friends Alvaston yesterday for his first groom. As I don't drive the journey on the bus was quite stressful, my puppy is quite nervous/anxious and suffers with separation anxiety which causes him to bark so the bus journey was quite stressful (not helped by someone leaving an apple core on the bus that he was trying to get to). I can't praise the staff highly enough not only did they calm my puppy down they calmed me down. The kindness, patience & understanding showed by Leila & the team (I feel bad that I didn't get names of the others as they were all brilliant) and the advice they gave has meant the world to me at a difficult time. I will definitely be back and have already recommended them to friends & family who have dogs. Thanks to everyone who was there.”

“Today, 6th July, my husband and I visited Pets at Home, Uttoxeter for the purpose of purchasing a car harness for our labrador/retriever. We were served by an assistant name Peggy. Peggy was very informative and knowledgeable and explained the various products on offer. Not only that, she actually tried one of the harnesses on our dog. As we were unsure how to actually fix the safety harness in our car she excused herself to her colleagues and followed us to our car to demonstrate the procedure. We were amazed at the level of service this lady gave us. We would be most grateful if you would pass on our thanks to Peggy who went above and beyond the call of duty. She is an excellent ambassador for your company.”

“Very happy with the service that I received when I had to rush my dog down to vets now in derby on a Saturday night in September of when my dog had eaten a fish hook. Yes it was more expensive due to it being a weekend but it got my dog sorted as we found out where abouts the fish hook was located in my dogs body and we had to be referred to another vets but overall the process of everything was so smooth. Would definitely recommend!”
