Mini Miracles - Early Childhood Centre Bruce

● Open
62 Thynne Street, Bruce ACT 2617, Australia

“One of the things we have valued about the centre is the attitude to children with additional needs, added to the diversity that all the children in the centre bring. I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our decision to send Vahin to Mini Miracles. The lovely songs he is trying to singing is really wonderful. I really appreciate the time taken to create the day books. So many photos are really interesting as well. Also, it really shows how much the team care about the development of the children in their care.”

Guardian Childcare & Education Bruce

22 Thynne Street, Bruce ACT 2617, Australia

“Piece of mind is all a parent can ask for when they send their child to childcare and Guardian Bruce brings that in spades! As a early years teacher myself, I know what best practice looks and feels like and the quality of the care at Guardian is second to none. They staff are incredibly warm and responsive and my son runs into the centre each day excited for the day a head. That is all I need to see to know that he is looked after, loved and engaged. We could not ask for better! Thank you to all the staff and leadership at Guardian!”

Papilio Early Learning Bruce

● Closed
100 Eastern Valley Way, Bruce ACT 2617, Australia

“It is absolutely an amazing place for kids. I really appreciate that Papilio Bruce took part in my kid’s growth and development for around a year. All staff are professional and friendly. Their approach for orientation is the best I have ever known. Not like other daycares, they allow new kids to come many times to adapt to new environment, which is more practical for both parents and kids. This place is highly recommended!”

Phoenix Muay Thai & Kickboxing

● Closed
26 Leverrier Street, Bruce ACT 2617, Australia

“I have had a loose association with this gym through my grand daughter who has been studying Muay Thai for approx 8 years. The staff are a wonderful group of people who are dedicated to the art of Muay Thai and fitness in general. I find them to be friendly, helpful and well versed in what they do. I finally bit the bullet and recently joined the beginners Muay Thai class as I needed a new challenge. This is the first gym I have ever joined. I find their dedication to training children quite admirable. Great place to take your child to get them away from the the computer screen and off the couch. Would benefit their ability to socially interact with other kids, become more confident in themselves and most importantly learn to respect others as well as themselves.”

Australian Institute of Sport

● Open
Leverrier Street, Bruce ACT 2617, Australia

“Note: I am ONLY reviewing the AIS tour ($20) and not the facility itself. 5 stars for the tour structure, inclusion and guides. Our tour started at 1pm with 45 minutes in the big game room. The room was big and full of interactive games for both children and adults. Best, you could score a goal by kicking the football on a screen that recognise the speed and the angle of the shot. See pics for all games available. After around 45 mins we left the game room for 10 mins visit to the actual sports facilities where our atheletes are actually trained. They take you to the event room that can be setup to host various events. Today it was setup for basketball. Good that the guides share a little bit of history and fun facts on each of facilities to make tour fun. We went to other facilities like Gymnasitics, gym, aquatic center etc. Tip: its worth taking your kids here when there are atheletes here. Unlike today (xmas holidays) when we didnt see anyone training.”

“Great pools and an excellent place for kids' swimming lessons. I haven't been as a casual or professional swimmer, but I'm sure it's just as good for that, too.”

“The building has geat scenery of the area surrounding the university. There is air ventilation inside the classrooms. The block is spacious and quiet. Lush greenery and lawns surround the construction and it leads to other interiors of the university. There are often useful graphics and noticed on the walls in parts of UC like this and including this.”

University of Canberra

● Open
11 Kirinari Street, Bruce ACT 2617, Australia

“The university (popular as “UC”) has a great atmosphere and it caters to both the domestic and international students. With a disarming set of faculties and facilities, it is one of the best in Australia. I am undergoing my two year masters here and I am having a good time.”
