About the Business

Welcome to the Canberra Heel Pain Institute (CHPI) located at 51 Mort Street in Braddon, Australia. As a leading establishment in the field of health, we specialize in providing comprehensive and elite treatment for managing heel pain.
With over 10 years of experience as sports podiatrists, we have encountered countless patients suffering from conditions associated with the heel. It is undoubtedly the most common and debilitating condition we see. This inspired us to create a holistic solution to address this issue and improve people's quality of life.
At CHPI, we have a collective group of specialists from various disciplines working together as a team to resolve your pain. Whether you are an active child, sedentary adult, elite athlete, or elderly individual, we are here to help, no matter the severity of your pain.
Our goal is to positively impact your lifestyle, aid in your injury recovery, and help you achieve your goals. We understand the toll that chronic heel pain can take on your mindset and motivation, and we are dedicated to providing effective solutions.
You can find us at our Braddon location on 51 Mort Street, near Haig Park. We also have a location in Bruce at the University of Canberra Health Hub, next to Bruce Sports Medicine, and an additional location in Kingston Foreshore, upstairs in the SportsTec Physio Clinic.
When visiting us, it is helpful to bring any relevant scans, a pair of shorts or pants that can be rolled up to your knee, and the shoes you commonly wear. While many patients are referred to us, there is no need for a referral to come to the Canberra Heel Pain Institute. However, patients with Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) coverage will require a referral from their GP. We accept health fund claims, and our HICAPS services allow you to claim benefits immediately.
At CHPI, your safety is our highest priority. We are committed to ensuring a safe environment for all our patients, and you can learn more about our COVID-19 safety measures on our website.
Choose the Canberra Heel Pain Institute for comprehensive and elite treatment that will help you overcome heel pain and get back to where you want to be. Say goodbye to living in pain and let us help you regain your mobility and improve your overall well-being.
Reviews
"The Podiatrist, Bianca Knight, I have been to twice is very thorough. She really listens and offers many practical suggestions along with referral from her and another for my GP. I feel that I have finally found someone who understands my feet problems. I am very grateful. I want to praise the practice manager, Charlie, who was also extremely helpful and personable when I spoke to her on the phone, about one of the radiology tests I had done related to my GP. She willingly passed on result to my Physiotherapist. I was really impressed with the time she availed of me. She also valued my call. I highly recommend this practice especially after I have been to three other podiatrists and not recieved any satisfaction re my problems."
"Podiatry Professionals are the friendliest group of ancillary medicos that I know."
"Wonderful experience very helpful. Thank you so much to the office staff and Justin Jarvis for being so kind and helpful today."
"I have chronic heel pain and was recommended this specialist as I was not getting relief. I saw Hayden Dillon and he was absolutely amazing. It was honestly the best pediatry consultation I have ever had. Haydon was extremely thorough and extremely professional. He was calm and friendly which put me at complete ease. I feel that I am finally on the path to recovery. Thank you Hayden."
"This is such a great practice and Jake is the most professional podiatrist I have used in Canberra! His approach is 'next level' when it comes to dealing with complicated heel pain."
