The Faculty of Science and Technology encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including environmental science, medical science, biomedical science, data science, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, robotics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Our teaching and research programs strike the perfect balance between theory and practice, enabling our students to make a positive impact on society. Whether it's combating cyber-crime, improving people's health and wellbeing, building robots, or studying ecosystems, our students are shaping the world through their innovative skills and knowledge.

Our globally focused research strengths are nurtured in cross-disciplinary research hubs, such as the Institute for Applied Ecology, the Centre for Conservation Ecology and Genomics, the Centre for Applied Water Science, and the human-centered technology hub.

We are proud to highlight the achievements of our students, such as PhD candidate Senada Meskin, who was the overall winner in the 3MT Asia-Pacific Semi-Final, and Sara Chica Latorre from the Faculty of Health, who won both the runner-up and People's Choice Award. These successes demonstrate the caliber of talent that our faculty attracts and nurtures.

Furthermore, we are excited to announce our partnership with NetApp and the ACT Government in establishing a new regional hub for open-source innovation, education, and research. This partnership will further enhance our institution's commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
