“Had one the most amazing sunny and beautiful brunch. Food is good and delicious. The ambiance and spread of the homestead is beyond words. The whole place looks as if some one created from a painting. The lush green stretch, wonderful gardens , dreamy mountain line in background and the giant fairytale pumpkins - hard to pick which will blow your mind. If you have kids they will enjoy as well in the open green fields. This place is a must go .”

“Note: I am ONLY reviewing the AIS tour ($20) and not the facility itself. 5 stars for the tour structure, inclusion and guides. Our tour started at 1pm with 45 minutes in the big game room. The room was big and full of interactive games for both children and adults. Best, you could score a goal by kicking the football on a screen that recognise the speed and the angle of the shot. See pics for all games available. After around 45 mins we left the game room for 10 mins visit to the actual sports facilities where our atheletes are actually trained. They take you to the event room that can be setup to host various events. Today it was setup for basketball. Good that the guides share a little bit of history and fun facts on each of facilities to make tour fun. We went to other facilities like Gymnasitics, gym, aquatic center etc. Tip: its worth taking your kids here when there are atheletes here. Unlike today (xmas holidays) when we didnt see anyone training.”

“The staff at the Midnight Hotel are amazing! When I come back here, I'll definitely look forward to staying here again. It's very local to a lot of great food and drink places nearby. There's plenty to see and it's centralized if you want to drive to nearby places to see monuments and nature to include kangaroos! The restaurant had amazing food and the bar had great drinks made perfectly!”

“The 10am opening is a little late compared to the city locations 9am but when you get there you realise the foot traffic justifies the late start and you forget about it pretty quick.. Service was super fast and that’s what counts.”

“After over 10 educational trips to Canberra, I can honestly say that The Capital Airport Motel offers the best in school accommodation. One huge plus is this provider is a schools only accommodation. Our students, and other teachers felt safe and informed from the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our student were looked after, however always ensured us as teachers were aware and comfortable with what was happening. The staff enabled us as teachers to enjoy simple things such as a meal in the morning and dinner of a night, and as I’m sure other teachers will appreciate, being able to have a few moments over a meal on a camp is amazing! Simple but honest options were offered at meal times for students (The roast night was a huge hit) With a simple menu offering more than enough variety to the teachers. Lunches on the bus with no thought needed from us. In the lead up to our trip we were somewhat apprehensive about some of our students needs as they have quite severe allergies. Again from the moment we arrived it was explained (in detail) how these would be managed, and really did but our minds at ease. The students with allergies were offered variety in food, didn’t miss out and encountered zero issue, a real credit to the people looking after catering. Would I recommend others to stay? “My favorite place in canberra! personally I have a membership, beautiful gym/pool and the best staff/trainers, could use a cleaner bathroom and shower door for us modest folks but aside from that a truly wonderful place!”

“This is a great River and along the top of the river flood Levi is a concrete walking track to take in the river views.”

“A great place to get off the beaten track. It's is quite hilly so if you are walking have a good look at the contour map. It is a good place for mountain biking as well. Some good views can be had as well.”

“Very nice area with nice picnic tables underneath the trees. The road is not very good marked and i suggest you use a GPS to assist you with the road. Once you are there you got a choice of a few hiking trails that you can done or a nice picnic with the family. There are also a few restrooms that are well contained. Enjoy your day out here.”
