"Please don't consider this place for your loved ones. My grandparents' resting place is there, unfortunately, and I found out today that flowers are not allowed and not just during mowing season. This is a cemetery- how does this make sense? I'll explain... I won't say the man's name publicly, but I called the main office about getting a new vase for them, as I thought theirs had been stolen. He said "feelings will get hurt if we mow them over, we'd have to pick up flowers all the the time" and other excuses. He did state that flowers will be thrown away but "if it's their birthday or something, we'll let them stay for about a week". They also allow Christmas flowers but ***SHAME ON YOU for being lazy, Asbury Cemetery***. I'll give you more flowers to throw away because I certainly will not stop bringing them every single anniversary and holiday. It's extremely sad to me that throughout all these years of grief and loss, I've rarely encountered anyone who has genuine compassion for the deceased or their families. I know of a woman who lost her three children in an accident. She said that the only tangible thing she can do for them now is to create beautiful flower bouquets and honor their sacred resting place. Thank you for taking away that opportunity away from us, Asbury Cemetery."
"Would mot recommend this cemetery. Steve is rude and we purchased a headstone with a vase so it wouldn’t obstruct mowing. They take our flowers and throw them away and have taken our vase out of the headstone!! They have a huge flower graveyard that they throw away these flowers and it’s ridiculous!"
"This is a Very Beautiful Cemetery. But it would be nice if the people that took care of it new who is buried in it so you don't have to search or have to call my cousin to find out where my Uncle Charles E Williams is buried at."
"This is a beautiful well kept cemetery"
