A Dopo Sourdough Pizza

"I had a hot date last night that I was most definitely trying to impress. So I decided to order some pizza and gelato from their online platform. In my notes, I told the staff about my hot date and asked if they could hook me up with some hearts or smiley faces drawn on the box. They did not disappoint. Not only was all of the food crazy good, but the art work put it over the top. The staff went as far as to give me heart shaped pepperoni and soppressata. Such a wonderful experience curated by Adopo. Can’t thank you guys enough for helping out! To anyone reading this, don’t drop the ball on this place. Best pizza and customer service around town!"

"We did the Trust Fall option. You get to trust your server to pick your starter, two pizzas, and gelato flavor (option to add a bottle of wine too). It’s cost effective but of course is a roll of the dice for if you will enjoy the foods. Our salad was ok, and one pizza we didn’t really enjoy. The Pizzicleta is really good and the pistachio gelato as a finisher is a MUST. Service is delightful. Parking is easy. Don’t forget to order pistachio gelato!!"

"Our new favorite wood fired pizza in Knoxville! The selections range from classic Margherita to unique combos like spicy Nduja sausage, mushroom, and a bed of arugula on top. The appetizers were delicious as well and I highly recommend the ovoline and pesto. You can get a bottle of wine or enjoy wine or beer on tap. Service has been top notch on multiple visits. We're an Italian family and this pizza is the closest thing to true Italian pizza, down to the way it is wood fired. I recommend the Calabrese pizza with Nduja sausage instead of olives and the wife's favorite pizza is the Margherita with added prosciutto, but I'd say they are all great. Also recommend their house made gelato. An added perk is they have decent parking for guests. If we didn't live 40 minutes away we'd eat here regularly. Don't hesitate on this great pizza experience."

"A little gem in Knoxville. This was recommended to us by locals and we turned up without a reservation (reservation highly recommended) Friendly welcome and they amazingly managed to find us a table on a Thursday evening. We had the sourdough pizza (red base) and these were amazing. Freshly rolled and baked with the perfect crunch on the crust. We had the home made pint (12 oz) ice cream. The dark chocolate was amazing, not too rich and the perfect texture and smoothness. This is a lovely hidden gem, with freshly made food and has a homely, welcoming feel. Highly recommend that you make a booking to avoid disappointment."

"I ordered carryout, the online portal was easy to navigate and gave accurate pickup times. I ordered the Bianca with speck ham added. Parking was readily available and there were several parties outside happily waiting on their seating reservations. Upon walking in the wooden front door the ambiance is dim lighting, packed house and the aroma of a wood fired oven whirling around. I see the owner personally preparing tables to the right for the next guests and I'm greeted by the friendly hostess who almost immediately hands me my carryout order once I give my name. The Bianca is a 15" pie with house made sourdough crust, house made mozzarella, ricotta, honey, pepper, garlic and I added speck ham. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. For anyone who has not had sourdough pizza before it can pair really well with a beer or wine. Sensational flavors and quality unparalleled in East Tennessee. The honey and ricotta sent this pizza soaring to perfection.I will be returning and hungry for more. To say me and my taste buds regret not trying A Dopo sooner is a gross understatement.
