"We worked with David Ball to sell our home recently. Fantastic experience from the very beginning! He helped with listing at the best price and right time, great photos and did great during the open houses he had. He was able to get our house listed and under contract in 23 days!! He communicated the buyers offer and where we needed to budge or compromise but also was willing to hold strong where he felt was our best fit. We had a very picky buyer and David even helped to get the General Contractor from Turner to fix all the minor problems, from the garbage disposal, loose screws and patio screened door. I had a car sitting with an oil leak and David came and actually scrubbed the floor clean to get the oil spot out for the new buyers to see the house in great condition. AND on top of this, all of it was done while my family and I were living in our Florida home!! 3 states away David took care of our house and got it taken care of. Highly recommend him and the Turner Team."

"My fiancé had this company for a home he rented and took very good care of in Farragut. Not only was he racially profiled as he had over 6 inspections in one year with the realty company not advocating for him one bit, they let the home owners return less than half of his deposit which was $2,550. This is the condition he left the home in. Please please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they will be seeing us in court along with the landlords. They also asked for proof of documentation for MY ESA and I wasn’t even on the lease nor did I live there. Would just visit a couple times a week. The owners had him completely replace all of the wood flooring (a tenant is not supposed to do any renovations on the home) due to minor scratches from when the movers moved him in, that costed $1,700. He did what they asked and didn’t say a word. Woody Creek allowed him to be treated extremely unfairly and the landlords should be ashamed. Real estate is not for them and they won’t last long in the game treating African American tenants and tenants period so poorly. They even openly said on camera they had a buyer back out and it hurt them financially. Pretty sure that has a lot to do with them fighting him tooth and nail on the deposit. He even moved out almost a month before his lease was up. Lease was up Sept 30th and he is just now receiving as of today Oct 30th a portion of his deposit. Which they told him would be mailed out but failed to tell him it was over $1,000 short. He also accidentally left his brand new fire pit in the back yard when moving out and instead of them trying to return the only item he left behind they charged him a pretty decent amount out of his deposit for it when he would’ve been more than happy to just come and pick it up."

"Rented through this company for 4 years. Was great when Brandon was over the rental properties, but not the same after he transitioned to a new role. Issues with property were unaddressed or simply addressed poorly."

"I was in contact with a representative from Woody Creek about a rental house in the Powell area. I was looking to rent for 6 months as I’m in the process of buying a house and my current condo is being sold. The market has shown no signs of slowing down, so I was looking for a rental to get me through the winter (and hopefully be able to buy a place, deal with closing, etc) and came upon Woody Creek via google. The man I spoke with (I don’t remember his name) was very nice on the phone, but took several days to get back to me when I asked him to check on the exact price of the rental with a 6 month lease. By the time he got back to me, the house already had several applications and it is now off the market. I had been looking for a rental with little luck for about a month and a half now, but this situation was particularly frustrating as I liked the house okay (although it was way overpriced) and liked the location. His lack of response makes me wonder how slow maintenance would have responded if a tenant had an emergency. I don’t recommend Woody Creek to any potential renter. Find someone who cares about your situation to throw money at. Also, their responses on here aren’t actual apologies as they claim they’re sorry other people “feel” a certain way, rather than giving an actual apology for being crummy."

"Woody Creek has managed our rental house investment property for over 10 years. They have done an outstanding job of finding and keeping good quality tenants who have good credit and clean backgrounds. The house has been very well maintained and we have never hand any issues with any of the 5 or so renters. When tenants leave they automatically find new tenants. The most is has taken is about 2 months but is usually much faster. One time one renter moved out on a Friday and the new renters moved in on Monday! I'm so glad that we decided not to do it ourselves, we have saved money and protected our house by using them and have never had to even think about it. We just keep getting checks in the mail each month. If you want to have your investment property managed in Knoxville you can't go wrong with Woody Creek! I highly recommend them."
