"They never pick up the phone, couldn't reach them to cancel appointment. They use outdated phone services in 21 century! Stay away!"

"First and last time coming here. Made an appointment for a routine skin cancer screening. The appointment started +20 minutes late. Between the time I was taken into the patient room, handed a paper cloth to change into, and “screened” by the practitioner, it was less than 5 minutes. I wasn’t asked if I had any questions or concerns. At checkout, the lady insisted I pay +$100 even though my insurance card says “100% preventive services are covered”. I insisted my insurance would cover it and the lady said in a surly tone “how am I supposed to know that?” Well, can you read the card? And how many other patients have had my mainstream insurance? And perhaps it’s common practice for insurance to fully cover preventive services? It’s your field, your should know. I immediately called my insurance company who assured me they would do a code review and that the dermatologist would be sending me a refund. They encouraged me NOT to pay a dime should I ever return for an annual skin cancer screening. It’s strikes me as either highly incompetent or perhaps unethical in the hope that I wouldn’t have called my insurance company. Will not be returning."

"Met with a Physician Assistant Brittany for acne. It was a struggle to speak to her. Since I didn’t want to do Accutane, she didn’t spend time talking with me or answer my questions. Had to call her back into the room so I could ask her the questions I needed. Again, didn’t give me a lot of time. I felt very shushed, not heard and talked at. Didn’t give me aftercare so I had to ask someone else. Not a good experience or got the help I needed. Won’t be going back."

"If I could have given a Zero I would. I called as a new patient to schedule an appointment. I first requested an appointment in Sevierville. She said a new patient in Sevierville was way out. I asked her about the other locations. She said do you want me to check all of them? She told me any new patient it would be far out. After several delays I ask her to offer me an appointment and after a long silence she hug up on me."
