Welcome to New Castle Presbyterian Church, a historic place of worship located at 25 East 2nd Street in the charming town of New Castle, Delaware. As one of the oldest Presbyterian churches in the United States, we have been a beacon of faith and community service for over three centuries.

At New Castle Presbyterian Church, we are a congregation of believers in God and followers of Jesus, committed to seeking the Spirit's guidance in our lives. We believe that God is still speaking and actively shaping His people, and we strive to reflect this belief in all that we do.

Our church is dedicated to serving both the local and global community. Through initiatives like the Women's Group's Adopt-A-Family and Penny Collection, our members take their commitment to giving seriously. Inspired by the words, "...inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me," we endeavor to make a positive impact wherever we can.

Join us for worship every Sunday at 10:30 am, where children are invited to attend the first half of the service before heading to Sunday School. Led by Ms. Mallory and other trained volunteers, children ages five through eleven will enjoy Bible stories, songs, and interactive learning on the 2nd floor of the Christian Education Building.

For those seeking deeper engagement with scripture, our Adult Bible Study meets every Wednesday from Fall to Spring at 3:00 pm. Additionally, we invite you to express your faith through music by joining our Choir, Handbell Choir, or by presenting a solo during the summer.

We are excited to announce that our services are now available both in-person and live-streamed on our YouTube channel, allowing you to join our worship from anywhere.

We also host special events like our Summer Book Discussion, which will take place at the historic Read House on Wednesday, August 28th at 3 pm.

"It was a cute little hall for my friends baby shower...my only complaint was that there wasn't a parking lot. It was my first time there and it should have been on the website of the church. I had to park in the cobble stone way across the street and carry the big huge box and two huge gift bags."
