"The historic, well-preserved town of New Castle is a pleasant day trip from Philadelphia. Start at the Visitor Center with their overview video. The friendly guide shared insider tips and gave us a walking tour map. You can download the audio tour from their website. Most attractions are closed Monday. Highlights are the Dutch House, the Court House museum and town square."
