"Staff was friendly and very helpful. My first room sprung a leak during a storm, and the staff quickly got me to a new room. However, one of the beds did have a broken frame underneath"
"Our room was really nice. Very large and comfy.. Clean and fresh. The floor did get damp around the air conditioner,, don't know why condensation formed, probably needs addressing. Pool was being repaired. That should be done in early spring. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book again."
"It was not the best looking hotel- the room was sticky and wet no matter the day or temp. So much so that the floor was sticky and couldn’t be walked on without socks and the bed was wet and very u comfortable because of it. The room had holes, paint chips, mold, unclean walls, damaged furniture. Really disappointed and took a lot to convince myself not to pack up and just swallow the money and get a different hotel. Only good thing about this place was the staff, very friendly and helpful."
"Extremely Disappointing - Filthy and Misleading FORT STEWART SOLDIERS AND FAMILY DO NOT STAY HERE! If you are a family member of a soldier or a soldier stationed at Fort Stewart, avoid this place at all costs. Our stay at this Wyndham property was incredibly disappointing and unpleasant. The room was in a terrible state, with sticky laminate flooring that forced me to wear socks the entire time to avoid direct contact. The couch was filthy with huge stains, and the headboard was similarly stained. My husband and I refused to sit on the couch, and we wouldn't dream of letting our son sleep on it. As a result, he spent the weekend at the barracks at Fort Stewart. The room smelled strongly of cat urine, indicating that the hotel does not adequately clean or disinfect after pets. The bathroom was also dirty, with spots on the door that needed wiping and corners that needed a thorough scrubbing. The bathroom counter was leaning and had a crack filled with silicone, which looked terrible. The entire hotel looked like it had been painted by an amateur. Breakfast was another letdown. The options were extremely basic, including cereal, toast, a waffle machine and a few hot items. There was no fruit even though the advertisement included fruit as part of the breakfast offering. This was misleading. We didn’t report the filthy conditions or the disrepair because it was clear that the entire hotel was in the same deplorable condition. Moving to another room wouldn’t have made a difference as it would have been just as disgusting. The entire property is in desperate need of a complete overhaul, and it’s shocking that Wyndham would allow their name to be associated with such a poorly maintained hotel. There were a couple of positives: the receptionist at the front desk was kind and sweet, and they did have chocolate chip cookies in the evenings. However, these small positives couldn’t compensate for the extensive negatives. The pool was closed for maintenance despite the hot weather and we never saw anyone fixing the pool. This property is an embarrassment to the Wyndham name and should be shut down and renovated."
"The room was sweaty from humidity ( possibly a/c) to the point of bed was moist. The shower was in a tub, no curtain, about a 12” shelf all the way around and filled up with water while showering. No way to drain it except soak up with towels. All the Floors were slick with sweat too. Over night our belongs even became moist. Carpets in hall are thread bare. Definitely a much older hotel and in need of repair/remodel."
