"The prices are incomparable! I haven't seen advertisements so I think it's Word of Mouth. I would like to scream, "Come check them out if you're looking for tires and or brakes!" This shop has saved me. I needed other work done in my car for maintenance, I wish I would have been told, instead if piece work. I will not be a repeat customer."
"The ONLY place I use! One day I was several miles away from Allenhurst Tire & Brake and got a flat tire. I could not get my tire off to put the spare on to get it to Allenhurst Tire & Brake. I called the business and the owner (Tyler) answered the phone so I asked him advice on what I should do. He asked me where I was and sent one of his guys to my location to help me so I could safely make it to Allenhurst Tire & Brake to have my tire repaired. My family and I always feel we get the BEST service from this business and employees. They are very knowledgeable in what they do!"
"Needed to air up a tire that had a hole I had plugged. I asked to use the air Just to fill it up. After mechanic asked owner they aired it up for me and put it on with no charge. I am indeed going to be using them for the future. Great friendly place."
"(ZERO stars actually& I've never left a bad review for anyone bc everyone has bad days-but this is EXTREME)Abt a month ago, I had my oil changed at Allenhurst Tire & Brake. Upon driving my car on it's 1st trip since the change the intercom came on saying it detected a major prob. in the engine, car went into limp mode-engine started knocking. I checked the dipstick & It was VERY much past the full line.I had the car towed to a mechanic shop to be assessed. The Mechanic said it def. had been overfilled, which resulted in it going into parts of the engine that it shouldn't have-resulting in a blown engine. Mechanic also stated my shroud had been cut in 2 places (under oil pan & oil filter) Tyler denies that his worker would overfill a car w/oil& when I explained abt the shroud being cut, he said, "we remove those". He later sd that his worker did cut the shroud instead of removing it, yet he didn't offer to buy one.Tyler made it clear that I'd hv to get a lawyer, so I contacted two, & they said it would be an easy win. (Most likely not a small claims court case bc it would easily be over 10k, due To engine being over 5k, having it put in, towing bills, rental car for months). In order to prepare for a lawsuit, I dec.to call (RECORDED for documentation) & restate the problems, giving Tyler a chance to mk the situation right. He sd that his guys "double check" the dipstick after changing the oil. I responded w/, "these are the same guys that couldn't remove a few bolts to remove my shroud to do work. Instead, they cut HUGE holes through it, so they cut corners". Him- "YES my guy cut holes in the shroud, which wasn't acceptable, but he didn't overfill the car. So he acknowledged that his worker cuts corners by not removing bolts-& cutting shrouds, but he's sure they double check dipsticks. What a COSTLY mistake this will be.There's no way I'd stand behind a worker doing this. I'd at least make the situation right that my worker admitted to doing. (I've attached pics& I'm trying to create a hyperlink to our recorded call which I'll add) I'm so sorry that I have recommended this place for the past several years."
