"Watch out if you are swiping your card at the pump because I did it and it seems that it somehow got duplicated. It’s been over a week now, and while I was jogging in my neighborhood this morning, I suddenly got number of calls and alerts from my bank saying that I have attempted to purchase numerous things on Internet, but have punched in wrong security number. How would this be possible when I was just jogging around the neighborhood? I have never swiped my card except this gas station. So if you have planning to fill your gas tank in this station, make sure to pay in cash. What are the tip is that there is a gas station just across the street and it is a bit cheaper. What a pleasant surprise to receive all those alerts in the morning while jogging."

"Arguably among the cheapest gasoline in Los Angeles, and there's no surcharge for credit/debit card use. If you do pay cash, they move the line to the cashier window smartly, and they generally have a smile on. 6 pumps if memory serves me... Not a great neighborhood, but not "Gaza City" either."

"I have been coming to La Brea gas for almost about seven years and never have issues with my card until just a couple of months back. This new employee named Denise, tends to like to select who she would want to come inside to utilize their card as if the person using it is fraudulent, Eric or any other employees are there I never had this issue and can pay at the pump with no problem. Even if there’s an issue that says “please see cashier.” And I have to go inside to pay a window. I never have the issue continued further. With Denise, she tends to act dumb and or play dumb and debit peoples cards and act as if she did not get any correspondence for such PayPal automatically gives an account balance after each purchase and every time I swiped my card Denise stated that it was declined. I entered the pin number correctly. I even did it as credit it was declined. I even went as far as the calling 911. As she seems to think this is a game and or it’s OK to play with peoples money and then play like an autistic Individual. I was so furious. I told the 911 Operator that if they did not get someone there, I will come through the window on her when I showed her the transactions that she just swiped for her and it were two different ones and I never ever said 14 dollars I asked for specifically $20 on pump number one. I am writing this review as a warning to anyone that has frequented this gas station for years and are Or maybe come up on the same issue in the near They are warned by such unprofessional And benign service i received . Will start to go to united oil across the street they offer And have a self-serve pay at pump kiosk On the inside as well as discounts on gas with the car wash. Denise is going to be the employee that causes this business to go under because of her behavior . Somebody will have the time one day and it may be her last time trying anyone ."
