"Logan and Cesar left my chevelle running better than ever!!! Thanks guys!!"
"Excellent service & communication. Will do business with again. Thank you:)"
"Did a great job rebuilding my quadrajet and helped me out a couple times since with small but important fixes. Nice to still have good old fashioned customer service around. Thx"
"I am a lifelong car collector/enthusiast and have been going to this shop for over a decade, primarily under previous ownership. The former owner, Tony, was a great person, excellent mechanic with a clean tidy shop, specializing in classics and older cars. We had a great working relationship and I brought at least 50 of my personal vehicles there for a variety of services all of which I was very happy with... never a dispute or harsh word uttered between us or his main mechanic, Cesar. Sadly Tony retired and sold the shop to the current owner, Logan. Now its a completely different story. I have taken a few cars there since Logan took over and while the work was "ok" it was sub par for this shop and clearly I was being charged more for lower quality service. Most recently I brought a 1965 Dodge Dart there for a baseline service, tune up, and carb adjustment... the car was running ok, just needed freshening. I drove it several times recently and about 30 miles to the shop when I dropped it off. Logan was not there when I dropped the car or picked it up several days later so I dealt with Cesar. The bill was abt $1200 for a carb rebuild and tune up, which was high and I had not agreed to in advance, but I paid it without complaint and took the car. Immediately, I knew things were wrong. The car was running rough, smoking, and had overwhelming gassy fumes in the car. I immediately called Cesar to tell him and he said he was too busy to take the car now and could I bring it back the following week. I have a storage garage close by so I agreed. I parked the car and didnt drive again until the following week when I was taking it back to the shop. The car broke down, (stalled in the middle of the street and would not restart) obvious carb issue, which after pushing the car in LA traffic to the side of the road, I confirmed. I called the shop and Logan answered. I explained that I was broken down about 1/2 mile from his shop. He gave me an attitude which was annoying but after some conversation he agreed to come and try to get the car started... we fiddled with it together and were able to start it and limp it down to the shop. Logan agreed to look at it but seemed annoyed and bothered that I was simply asking him to figure out what was wrong and fix it, even though the issue was clearly a result of the work they had just performed. Obviously I was not happy about it but said nothing, just left and waited for his word. I got a call the next day saying that they had repaired the carb and did some things but that the car was still smoking and emitting fumes, neither of which it was doing when I originally brought it there. We discussed this and Logan got mad, actually telling me he "didn't give a sh*t". I was shocked but agreed to come check out the car, which I did. It was still running poorly, smoking badly, and filled with fumes. Logans attitude about this was incredibly bad, he was so disrespectful and unprofessional I couldn't believe I was standing in Tony's old shop. Logan even had the nerve to present me with another $600 bill for diagnosing but not fixing the very problem he caused!! I refused to pay the additional bill and actually asked for a full refund since I had to take the car to another shop to figure out what he had broken and repair it. He gave me a small partial refund but rather than lose my temper I took it and left to drive 3 miles to another shop I've been using for many years. The car BROKE DOWN AGAIN on the way there, still the carb issue. Obviously I was now extremely unhappy. The other shop found and fixed Logans mistakes and while he confirmed this himself, his attitude remains flippant, condescending, and unprofessional as ever. I have decided to escalate the matter to the appropriate agencies rather than deal with him further. I would advise anyone who cares about their vehicle and/or basic business ethics to stay far away from this shop. Tragic that Logan has ruined the legacy of this once great shop and will now break your car, charge you for it , and give you a crazy attitude if you mention it."
"I'm a 25 year old who recently bought my first classic car (1963 Plymouth Valiant). I've lived on this street for a few years and I've spent a good amount of time drooling over the cars in Logan's Shop. A few months ago when I bought my car I took it to have them look at it - since then, my experience with ACE has been absolutely incredible. A 60 year old car has a lot that can go wrong, I can always trust Logan to take care of it in a timely and professional fashion - communicating with me every bit of the way - even when they have 5 other cars in the shop. These guys are simply the best. I call them whenever I have a question or an issue, they've stayed past closing so I could drop it off, the list goes on.... cannot say enough good things about them. Choose ACE - you will not regret it."
