"Dr. Anderson performed my second knee replacement, the first one had been done about 10 years ago by another Doctor who no longer practices. While i did make a complete recovery and am happy with my knee all I can remember is the pain and torture I went through in trying to recover and the pain caused by the physical therapist and the use of unreal goals and penalties to get me to work harder. I really appreciate Dr. Anderson‘s program of allowing time to eliminate the swelling before starting to do the exercises. The swelling I feel is a big cause of the pain. The exercises I did that were provided to me by Dr. Anderson’s physical therapist on the team, many of them, which were similar to what I had done before were much less painful and much more manageable than before. They also did the job. I had the option of going to a physical therapist if I wanted or doing the exercises at home. I elected to do them at home at my pace and based on my pain Threshold. I am now a little over six weeks out, I have been going to the gym and have been working out on my farm for the last 2 to 3 weeks while following the guidelines and the exercises recommended, and I feel my leg getting stronger daily. The daily texts sent by Dr. Anderson’s team have been something I look forward to to give me an idea of if I am on the right track., am reaching my goals, and just getting encouragement and instructions about the drugs I am taking. Overall, this experience has been much better than I assumed it would be. I know I have progressed faster and less painfully than i did with the previous knee. I would highly recommend Dr. Anderson and his team and I’m glad that I made the decision to go with them."
