Reviews of Center for Human Potential
"It makes me sad that my daughter is treated really bad by the receptionist in a place she is supposed to heal. She has suffered with mental health her whole life, and to go to a place where she found a good therapist finally that she likes, and then be so mistreated by the receptionist Carol and the owner too is devastating to me. The owner lied to her about contacting her provider to know about a treatment.Carol the receptionist is not qualified to be there, is probably there because her husband is a provider, and has been racist towards my daughter more than once. No one ever apologized. What reliefs me is the fact that the providers she works with are very competent and try the best to heal her. but it does causes her stress and anxiety to have to see these other people."
"I have to say that my experience was amazing, from scheduling to being seen, I didn’t have to wait very long to get in to be seen. I believe I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks before they could get me in which isn’t long at all considering I’ve had to wait several months before I could be seen by a psychiatrist in the past. I was a new patient which they block out 1 hour for your visit, which was very nice. I didn’t feel like they were in a hurry to get me in and out.. the lady I saw, Brianna, was kind and she took her time. She was very thorough and I felt like she answered all my questions. I was seen exactly when my appointment was scheduled for, no long waits before being seen. I live in Tooele so I am happy that they will be able to see me virtually on occasion.. I felt like the front office staff were very kind and friendly.. today was my first visit but I highly recommend.. plus they accept my insurance which is even better.."
"Having seen mental health providers since my teenagers years and being familiar with insurance billing. I feel like I have encountered and interacted with a large number of practices. However, finding a new therapist when moving to Utah was overwhelming and I put it off until it was crisis time. Center for Human Potential was able to have me see a provider very quickly. My therapist Christy had been amazing in accommodating my other physical problems, with last minute appt. changes, 7pm appointments, etc. My other provider Liz G was so compassionate and went ABOVE and beyond when I was at the lowest point in my life, and was not in a great headspace. They have been transparent in billing, I have received bills monthly, and have made it a point from years past to ask specifics from both my Insurance company and the provider. I have been very happy with the care and service I have received. This is just my experience."
"I've been a patient at the Center for Human Potential for roughly 3-4 months. This is by far the best mental healthcare experience I've ever received. Gabby is my prescriber and Christy is my therapist. Both have been empathetic and helpful. Further, the staff is responsive and appointments, medication refills, etc. always happen in a timely manner. I'm thankful for this clinic and the help they've given me."
"Very professional and comfortable experience. The staff was gracious. Briana Terry clearly led me through the intake questions and explained some options and the reasoning for those options as well as what to watch for and be aware of. I felt comfortable answering the questions honestly; she was neutral about strong content and also very aware to ask good questions. Overall a surprisingly pleasant experience."
