"I wasn’t going to leave a review but in 2016 Dr.Jackson was my doctor. In my initial visit she was very rude to office staff. She asked me about the relationship with my children father. I told her that I didn’t want her opinion about my relationship. She became agitated with me because I didn’t want to talk about it with her. She began to tell me about her relationship where no children were produced. She did her exam and had the lab tech to call to say that I had an STD. He and I went back to the office. When we arrived and I told her what was relayed to me on the phone she said nothing. She never addressed it. SHE DIDN’T PRESCRIBE ME ANY MEDS OR ANYTHING. I left and went to the Parkland ER to get tested and I dis didn’t have an STD. In my fifth month of pregnancy I began to be in pain. I kept telling her that I was in pain and she constantly ignored me. Finally, during one of my appts I got very angry and yelled at her about it. I was more 8 mos. She then told me to go and buy a belly band. She sent me to the same doctor twice to see if my baby had birth defects because I was 33 yrs. old at the time. The doctor got agitated and stated that the she has the results and everything is fine; I don’t know why she keep sending you over here. It was way on the other side of the hospital. One of the nurses understood what I was going through and took me off work. I no longer trusted her medical advice and discontinued my appts. She's sent me a letter in the mail stating she was dropping me as a patient. I called the office to thank the ladies that work there and told her that I know that she didn’t think that I was coming back to her and I hadn’t been to the last four appointments. SHE IS A HORRIBLE DOCTOR! Afterwards I saw a news article that she had been driving under the influence. I complained to the board. She shouldn’t be in practice."
"I have been going to this doctor since I was 15 years old, more than half my life, and I have absolutely no complaints. The main doctor is usually busy with pregnant women, since that is her specialty, but I absolutely love every nurse practitioner she has in her office. They have a great bedside manner, They’re down to earth and understanding, and I have never once felt uncomfortable in her office. The other office staff are always so sweet, kind, and professional as well. I absolutely love this doctors office and I feel very well taken care of when I visit!"
"I came on hear to read the reviews to see if anyone is experiencing the same issues that I am. It’s sad to say all the negative reviews are 100% true. When I found doctor Jackson’s office I was proud to see a black doctor with great reviews at the time. However, these last few encounters have been tragic and I will not be returning. I started off seeing doctor Tina who was sweet nice and knowledgeable. And I actually wanted to keep her as my main OBGYN. For some reason, I got scheduled with the head doctor and from day one, it’s been downhill. First appointment, I was 10mins late and told it was fine and to still show up. They had me undressed and waiting in the observation room for 2hrs! (Not kidding). Dr Jackson walked in while I was putting on my clothes getting ready to head out because I was through! She apologized but then said I showed up late so it was partly my fault. I honestly don’t know why I continued to come after that ridiculous service, but I was already exhausted with having to find a doctor after searching for years. I thought I’d finally be able to chill for a bit. They don’t give you other options or recommendations to problems. They tell you that you need surgery and that’s it. They’ve gone to lunch and left me on hold for hours. Dr. Jackson has straight up showed me images of other patient’s internal organs which I’m sure violates patient privacy. It is all around unprofessional. Back to drawing board it is…"
"This practice was absolutely absurd to say the least. They were so disorganized at check-in and rude. To make matters worse, they are down right dirty and should be investigated. I took a look in the cabinet after my Dr came in to take a look at me and I found a sea of USED speculums all floating in a mystery substance. Seriously?! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. Lastly, I was mortified to find equipment just laying around in the RESTROOM. I have attached images/video… RUN."
"I went for my annual and this will be my last time going. As a professional myself it is a must to have surveys....This practice lacks professionalism. I scheduled an appointment thinking I was going to see Dr. Jackson. As I was walking into the office I received a text stating I will be seen by Dr.Tu. I addressed the matter with the lady at the front desk she stated they were supposed to inform me upon scheduling who I would see. No worries. Dr. Tu was great, patient, very well-spoken and knowledgeable. However, the tall fair-skinned black woman with long multicolored hair who draws the blood needs to be terminated. Very unprofessional. I waited 10 minutes in the hallway for her to address me about getting my blood drawn “you ready now? Because I don't talk to people when they are looking at their phones.” Those were here words to me. I remained silent because I didn't want to look ignorant alone with her. She shoved the needle in my arm and then pulled it out stating she didn't get the vein. Be mindful that she had already felt 3 different veins that were noticeable. She kept mispronouncing my name after asking the correct way to say it. I finally corrected her and she still got it wrong and said, “that is what I have been saying.” I smiled and walked off. I could tell she wanted an argument but I was praying for her that whole time and asking God to humble me in the process. I wanted so badly to address her ignorance but at this moment I have to believe Dr. Jackson has allowed this woman's behavior for some time now. She was too comfortable with her delivery. Professionalism is presented in a certain manner and it shows with the staff that is employed under her. What's even more sad about this situation you never know who you may be encountering. Dr. Jackson’s team could benefit from education on being culturally competent with the population they are servicing."
