Prior to my appointment, I had two separate appointment confirmation calls and I asked to confirm my patient responsibility, which I was told would be $154 after insurance approval. I reiterated this question each time to ensure the amount hadn't changed. Upon arrival, I paid the agreed-upon $154. However, I was shocked to receive a bill weeks later for an additional $700. Not once was I informed that the initial amount was an 'estimate.' Instead, I was assured it was what I would owe. Despite my efforts to clarify my financial responsibility, it seems that the office failed to verify with my insurance provider, which has a set price of $854 for services with Gateway Diagnostic Imaging Plano. Subsequent attempts to resolve the issue with the billing department proved fruitless and frustrating. Calls were met with unhelpful responses, and there was a blatant disregard for their own procedures, as evident from the lack of proper documentation regarding our conversations – a requirement, according to the location's manager. This lack of transparency and accountability is deeply concerning. I urge others to heed my warning and seek alternative imaging facilities. Despite my diligence in confirming costs beforehand, I was still misled and left with an unexpected bill. "Service is good but billing is a disaster. I had my ultrasound done in this office. The whole process was smooth and good. But, the billing afterwards was a disaster. They took my insurance information but never filed for my insurance with the reason that my insurance was invalid. My insurance company called their billing office 3 times and was hung up 3 times. After I finally got their billing dept with my insurance agent on the phone, they were able to get my insurance claim submitted with a confirmation. But, the office continued to send me emails and postal mails asking me to pay for the whole amount even when the claim is still being processed. I will use a different company next time."

"I had a very good experience at this location! The staff is incredibly friendly and silly/funny, they make you feel more at home and calmer about having to get a procedure done. They are so human! This has been one of the best experiences at any sort of medical facility. If you're nervous, don't be! The front desk staff will welcome you immediately and might even make you laugh! The wait was only 1 minute (I kid you not), and the procedure was about 10 minutes. That was the quickest appointment I've had. If you're thinking of coming to this place for services, I would say do it! Hope this helps."
