Welcome to the Pediatric Food Allergy Center at UT Southwestern, located on the 3rd Floor, Suite P3500, at 7609 Preston Road in Plano, Texas. As a distinguished provider of pediatric health services, we specialize in diagnosing and managing food allergies in children, including those with multiple food allergies and peanut allergies, the most common among young patients.

Our center stands out as the only academic-affiliated food allergy center in North Texas. Since 2015, we have been recognized as a FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) Clinical Network Center of Excellence. Recently, we proudly earned the designation of FARE Clinical Network Discovery Center of Distinction, highlighting our dedication to pioneering research in treatments, diagnostics, prevention, and enhanced care practices.

Our expert team includes Dr. Christopher Parrish, certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and Maria Crain, APRN, PNP-PC, a seasoned nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in managing pediatric food allergies. Together, they ensure comprehensive care tailored to your child's unique needs.

We encourage new patients to schedule an appointment by calling 469-497-2500. For your convenience, please prepare a list of questions to discuss with our specialists and arrive 20 minutes early for parking and registration. We strive to honor your scheduled appointment time, and kindly request that any cancellations be made at least 48 hours in advance to accommodate other patients.

To ensure continuous care, please monitor your child’s medication supply and request refills in advance. For refill requests, contact your pharmacy, which will then reach out to us. Allow 24 to 48 hours for processing.
