"Dr. Powell was so kind and thorough. He actually took the time to sit down, get a thorough GI history and explain all options. Usually specialists send in the APRN or PAC on a first visit but he saw me himself, we scheduled a colonoscopy but he also spent most of the time on my chronic issues with regularity. The entire office team was professional. I am so glad that I chose to see Dr Powell. He had treated my Mom like 20 years ago and helped get her to Mayo where they found a GIST which is a rare small bowel tumor. She had surgery and was cured. Before Dr. Powell, she had been hospitalized numerous times in a few months time frame and had received so much blood maybe 30 units or so and scopes, even swallowed the little guy camera but no one could find the bleeding source. He worked with her family physician to get her where she needed."

"I really give a 4 1/2 based on my experience with the check in nurse. She greeted me, but she was quick with demands, short with patience, and appeared irritated not only with me but with another person who entered the room. Maybe, she was just having a moment, but my heart rate increased during that time. I hate rudeness. Anyhow, all the other staff members and Dr. Powell were exceptionally nice. Dr. Powell was compassionate and explained things in detail. I love kindness! Sincerely, Debra"

"I’ve been Dr Powell‘s patient for the last 15 years. He genuinely seems to care about you and never rushes you. He listens to your concerns and discusses different options for you so that together you can determine what you need and don’t need to do. I see his PA, just as often, but she is super kind and sweet and also a very good listener. His staff and the clinic are all wonderful."
