"Response to @Jossi Joss : I can respond to this review with no problem, there's a saying in spanish el que no deve, no teme, He who doesn't owe, doesnt fear. Definitely this was NO SCAM, or FRAUD. This was a brand new 1 bedroom apartment that the family of 3 with a dog , came to view, after viewing they pleaded & pleaded to get this apartment, they claimed they desperately needed due to the previous owner selling their current home & wanting to stay in the area because of transportation. The new owner did not think the apartment would be suitable for a family of 3 due to small size, however the family claimed no issues would occure since they mainly worked all day and just needed a space & they were a "nice, pay on time family". After pleading everyday, calling my co worker and my co worker calling me. They submitted documents & said they wanted to commit to the apartment by given the landlord security deposit. They gave us partial payments for brokers fee and 1st months rent, which should have been my indiation of being careful to rent to this family but at the moment I didn't think much since I knew many of us were getting up after the covid situation. I wanted to help them, there was also the dog, I had to convince the owner to allow the pet, again I put in a good word to try to help them. Owner agreed toTHEIR terms. 3 weeks after security deposit was given, end of the month, & the new month about to start. They call me to say Thank you but we will no longer take the apartment! Renters please keep in mind for future & Realtors please put your input here: Security Deposits & Brokers Fee are NOT REFUNDABLE, especially after time has passed by. We stop showing the apartment to other serious potential tenants & the owner takes your word that the you will rent for the new month! This is a business transaction, not a game. Tenants looking to rent, keep in mind that when you give owners security deposits & brokers fee you are telling owners: Don't show or rent to another tenant. I will rent this apartment in good faith. There was a process that took place here, document review & interview prior to security and brokers fee being given. You cannot expect refund after 3 weeks because you simply changed your mind. I re- explained this to her with my co agent ahd she proceeded with the apartment. The apartment was given to her & her family, NO Scam was commited here, I didn't run with her money & not provide an apartment & NO Fraud was commited because I never withheld information. After they moved in, everything was bothering her, the walk of the second floor tenants, the heat the cold, everything! The owner tried to accomodated with heaters & vents but she was not happy. I called her to see how else I can help them & make her stay comfortable but she had attitude from the moment I said Hello. She called the city on the poor new homeowner, HOMEOWNERS BEWARE! they come in as a "sweet family" soft spoken, showed all documents & after they moved in they showed their true colors, yelling & being disrespectful. They are a family of 3, father works at a diner in LI, she works as a paralegal or if I remember correctly a social worker of some sort, were she claims to know the law & is holier than thou. The mother workers cleaning houses. If I commited any wrong here, it was believing in them! I apologize to the homeowner and make my interview process a little more challenging due to this family. I am an independent agent that works at Castillo Home Sales, this transaction was independent with another co agent from another office. I have many for many years positive reviews from both repeated homeowners and tenants, in the business for 15 years. I am very transparent & can provide at any time recommendations."

"Horrible service. Unprofessional, and I was forced to take the place because other ways they where going to charge 50$ per day after I said I didn’t wanted the apartment no more. No contract was given to me where it said so. For me it was a scam. Don’t trust them. I was only 2 months in the apartment and it was a hell. Noisy neighbors, they charge me for heat since they give me electric heaters and I wasn’t supposed to be charge for heat. Please! Look for another agency but this one is a big NO! They also told me no pets where allow and there was a dog living there."
