"Very negative experience. The packing was performed poorly and multiple items were broken. One of the movers packed his used lunch paper plate into a box. The movers also urinated extensively on the floor of our bathroom."

"We moved from Staten Island to New Jersey. Of course we were concerned with how this move will be handled. We were told about "Michael's Moving and Storage". We couldn't have been happier with the way the move went. The movers were professional and friendly at the same time. They packed up things we missed and took very good care of all our belongings. The most impressive was when the owner showed up just to see how things were going. We have a few friends moving in the next year and Michael's will be the mover they will be using."

"I have used Michael's several times over the years & have always been happy with their service. This time it was different, my mother passed away & she lived out of state, so I hadn't initially thought to call them to move the many things of hers I was keeping (100+ boxes!). After many issues with the local movers in her state (wanting to off load & on load the items several times between her state (GA) & NY I grew concerned that this was the way items got lost & broke. I went to Michael's website and saw that they did many moves to the south, so I took a chance & I called. I was so happy when they told me that they would be able to manage this move! (Had I known originally - I would've also had them pack for me as well - because I have had them pack & they do a wonderful job packing too!) After working through their scheduled trips & my dates - we came to a date that would work for both of us. Let me add that John in their office was so kind & understanding through my many calls of concern and worry about numerous things – that this review wouldn’t be complete without giving him a shout out for putting up with me. My next praise goes to Michael himself – who got stuck in FL during Hurricane Ian with a full truck – and he & has office were working with a local mover to make sure my things were picked up on time if he was stuck in FL longer than planned (we sold the house & I had to get out). Thankfully he made it thru safe & was able to find a way to get out of FL almost immediately afterwards and arrived on time to me at my mom’s home. The crew had the home emptied quickly & then it arrived here at my home within a few days with another great crew. Michael’s has always provided professional, pleasant & hard working crews and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!"

"Moving is always stressful and having your truck in storage for a night and it being driven to a new state is even more stressful. My crew from Michael's was exceptional. Early on day 1 of the move. Beyond efficient with my partial pack. One person packed the kitchen while the other two got everything else wrapped and prepped to move down the elevator to the truck. Day 2 they hit traffic but kept me updated on their arrival time. The parking spot for the truck wasn't very convenient to the door and it was 100 degrees out but they still worked hard and efficiently. They made sure everything was where I wanted it before they left to return to Boston. I've moved a few times in my life. This was my second move with a company as an adult and this whole company was impressive. Polite and thorough office staff. Hard working and polite moving crew (never saw their masks off either!) I highly highly recommend Michael's."
