GGMC Parking

"A note - the actual entrance to the garage is on 32nd street, but there is a walk-in entrance/exit once you have parked your car. To start, we've been using this service for the last year. It has not been a perfect experience. But I'm still rating it 5 stars, because you have to compare this to what any other parking garage is like in the area. - The garage is 24/7, which is not true for most (possibly all) nearby garages - The garage does not rely on an attendant, which substantially reduces the risk of damage. You can view other garages which do use an attendant and see how often that comes up - The parking is underground and secured. There is zero chance of someone breaking into the car, and the garage is temperature controlled such that it's always comfortable to get in when it comes up. - The text support for the garage has improved substantially in the last few months, and we rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes for our vehicle - The on-site manager Pedro is professional and responsive, and is on site at least 2-3 days a week My one gripe at this point is the lack of EV charging, which would be icing on the cake in terms of value prop of the garage itself. Unrelated to the garage is that the inlet to 32nd street leaves something to be desired - the DOT does not enforce parking rules on ditmars, so you sometimes have to maneuver around illegally parked cars to get in or out. But that's not special or exclusive to just this street either."

"If I can give this place less than 1 star I would. Extremely unrealible service. When it work it great. But when it doesn't work its literally the worst thing ever. I’ve already canceled my monthly spot. There is not a SINGLE EMPLOYEE that is on sight/premises. When your car gets stuck. You will wait up to 1 hour sometimes to get your car. The company is very slick and very cheap. They outsource everything to cut costs. When your car is not coming up the elevator and the system malfunction. You speak to a customer rep, that's based out of India. And they will try their best and get your car. (why isn't there is an employee on site?) You're paying $300 + tax for a service that doesn't work. If you think they will reimbursed for an uber they won't. You'll jump through hoops and rings to speak to the right people. When the system doesn't work. You question yourself and realize $300 for a monthly spot that is very unreliable. Beware and be cautious before you sign up. There will be Day where you need your car right away and then that will be the day where your car gets stuck."

"Currently have a monthly spot here which I’ll be canceling. When it works it’s great; when it doesn’t it’s…a nightmare. They don’t have the technology reliably worked out yet, causing major issues picking up or dropping off your vehicle. Unless you have tons of time to kill and don’t mind being late to wherever you’re headed, I’d look elsewhere for parking."
