NYS Inspection

"Went in for a NY motorcycle inspection. I was really hesitant after seeing many of the reviews saying they were overcharged, but there aren’t many places that do it so I thought I’d go and see for myself. When I got there, there were a good number of people waiting for inspections, but the guy doing them was working through everyone super fast. I have a stock bike so no issues with exhaust volume or anything else. Cost $10. Will prob be bringing my car here for service as well."

"Very busy shop, but that tells you they do good work and have many regular customers. Although I was only there for an inspection today, I enjoyed my conversation with the owners. This is a good neighborhood local business."

"Came here for motorcycle inspection and guy told me it’s too loud. I traveled 40 mins and when I asked him is it really that loud and he asked me to pay 50$ and he will pass it. I got the money from atm nearby because I didn’t wanted to waste my time arguing with someone like him. He didn’t check anything and passed it. Never coming back. Save yourself and stay away from these cheap mechanics"

"STAY AWAY. Came in with my bike for a $6 inspection. It has the OEM factory stock exhaust, and the guy claimed it was too loud and wouldn’t pass inspection. At this point, he says he can pass it for $50. I asked if it was to install a silencer or baffle, and he said no just to pass it. Yes, he asked me to BRIBE him to pass an inspection that would pass anywhere else. I left and he told me “good luck getting it passed somewhere else.” I went to a different shop that conducted a proper legal inspection without trying to extort me and I passed. That is a straight up illegal practice, and it seems like I’m not the only one who’s had this experience. These guys are CROOKS, take your business elsewhere. EDIT: Look at how this clown responds to all of these reviews to deny his shady practices. Scroll down and look at the handful of reviews here sharing similar experiences. I’m not the only one. If it’s one reviewer saying something then whatever, I see over 6 reviews with very similar experiences."

"This is the place to go! Edgar, the owner of this business, is a solid guy with the knowledge, maintenance, and know-how to get your auto work done. Came in for an NYS auto inspection, and since he had done it while I was messing around on my phone, I didn't notice whether he lifted the car to check the undercarriage. When I asked about whether they looked underneath, he insisted that they put the car on the lift a second time just so that he could show me that all the mechanics underneath were in operational condition and actually followed through. Edgar is a solid guy, definitely not a ripoff. Would recommend 10/10."
