"I really like music Thursday night And usually the sermons. However tonight I was pulled aside by Pastor Lance stating to sing quietier as I was off key and pitch. This upset me greatly so I left. The funny thing is I have been in quite a few Choirs and am MUSIC DIRECTOR of my church. Therefore I know I'm not off key or pitch. ALSO PASTORS SHOULD KNOW JUDGE NOT YE BE JUDGED AND MAKE A JOYFULL NOISE TO THE LORD AND WHILE I'M ON KEY AND PITCH IT'S NOT BIBLICAL TO BE ON KEY OR PITCH"
"Shady dealings in the finance office. Watch your tuition bills carefully with this preschool. AVOID if your child is non-neurotypical. Came to this preschool prepared with a 1:1 support therapist and a special education teacher from the county on day 1. My son has high functioning autism, and attended the special needs preschool over the summer through the county’s DART program (it was determined he was too high functioning to continue to receive services there, so we had no choice but to seek a community preschool). At first, outside professional supports were welcomed by staff. As time went on it became evident that these supports were burdensome to staff. Both the therapist and the special ed teacher mentioned that staff said my son had “too many cooks in the kitchen.” Both the therapist and the special ed teacher noted that the director grew increasingly irritated with my child’s needs. My husband and I had spoken with the director on a Friday, who assured us the school would try for a little longer to make this work. Two days following (Sunday morning) I received a call from the director stating that we were being permanently dismissed, effective immediately. What happened over a weekend? Now we fully understand that times are tough, and meltdowns/aggression at school should be addressed immediately. But staff disregarded the professionals I sent in to support them, even though we were transparent with our son’s struggles upon entry to the school. Upon dismissal, the director issued us a refund where her math was incorrect. When I pointed this out, she stated her check amount was correct. I had to threaten to sue them AND get the head pastor involved before this was resolved. The head pastor acknowledged that the directors math WAS incorrect, and issued us the correct refund. At best, this is an institution of church ladies running a preschool as a hobby. At worst, its a program under the leadership of an incompetent and impatient director."
"I don't go to this church, but on Christmas eve, every year. I absolutely love the minister. He is one of the best ministers. Very engaging, holds your attention for the entire service."
"My daughter attended preschool here and absolutely loved it. The teachers were nurturing and truly gave her a fantastic first school experience. She entered kindergarten well prepared and has done well since. I highly recommend this preschool!"
"My son attended this preschool for a few weeks. We were told by the teachers and director that he was struggling in their PM class, and asked us to move him to the AM class, which did not work for our schedule. When we informed them that we could not move him to the AM class, they threw our son out of the class rather than put in the work to try and get him up to speed. This blew up our childcare plans and obviously upset my son. We were shocked to see a group of educators completely give up on a child as they did in our case."
