Reviews
"It's a really incredible place, every exhibit is interactive and thought provoking. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. It took about an hour to go through, doing everything. The clean room where they're making the lander is really interesting. We went on a Sunday and got to take pictures of the lander, we were told that normally when people are in there working you can't take photos, so we were very lucky!"
"A small space with interactive exhibits. Lots of teaching moments for all. Lots of reading and worth the hour walk through. Incredible to see how passionate the staff are about the work being done right here in Pittsburgh."
"Museum has kids in mind more than adults, but you get to see AN ACTUAL MOON ROVER BEING BUILT!! Like, that’s worth the $10 admission alone! Also, free your inner child! We learned SO MUCH from doing the interactive activities. Easily one of the coolest experiences we had in Pittsburg, hidden gem for sure!"
"Fascinating place to watch engineers and scientists work. The museum is small, but the video and chance to watch engineers work are well worth it. They also have a number of fun activities for kids. The ticket price is affordable for a small museum. Go there first and get $3 off the Carnegie science museum. The lunar lander will be leaving soon and they will start working on a larger lunar lander."
