"We took advantage of the free entrance in August and we brought our nieces (6 and 3). We all had a lot of fun! We got here at 10:15 on Sunday morning and we went right in even if the place was pretty busy. The majority of the activities are on the first floor along with a café with quite a bit of tables. At the beginning it can be a little overwhelming until you acclimate then it is pretty fun. I would probably want to go back during weekdays because every room was pretty full and there was a wait for pretty much anything you wanted to do, except in the art room...that was pretty empty. But even being busy it wasn't frustrating. There is some pretty cool stuff and both my husband and I loved explaining to our nieces how things worked. The second floor hosts a nursery, while the third floor has activities with water so make sure to bring a change for your kids; they have impermeable vests but definitely won't help against the showers. Every floor can be reached by stairs or elevator. Every activity is meant to develop some kind of skills or to bring knowledge. The staff was helpful and very patient. There were bathrooms but know that there is the chance you'll wait long in line. Also, I wish there were more water fountains. I wasn't actively looking but I only saw one on the third floor. If there were more on the other floors I didn't see them. There's a parking lot next to the children's museum (on Sunday was 7$), it's not that big but I believe there is an overflow parking somewhere nearby too. Parking on the street is all pay parking (Sunday free) but if there is a game in Northshore, it will be quite impossible to find any. The children's museum is definitely a place to bring kids too because it's fun for everyone."
"Awesome place for kids. Had lots of fun with kids. Would say gravity room is a must do activity. You will love it. Food was good in cafeteria. In august they offered free entry for all. For parking if lot is full you can use nova parking center Gate 4 is for museum visitor."
"We brought our two grandchildren who are 9 and 10. We were afraid they might have been too old for most things but they loved it!! I was very impressed with the Kindness exhibit so creative and fun. Also liked that there was plenty of seating for watching. Thank you for a great day."
"This place was perfect for our 4 year old. She loved the hamster climbing wall and the angled room the most. We spent a couple hours there but could have stayed for a bit longer. Bring your own hand sanitizer as the ones there don’t seem to be restocked frequently. They do have a water play area.. would recommend bringing a bathing suit and towel. They do have dryers and little aprons to help protect clothes"
