Marshall- California Parklet
About the Business
Welcome to Marshall-California Parklet, a charming oasis nestled in the heart of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This delightful park is an integral part of the city's vibrant outdoor scene, providing residents and visitors with a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
Marshall-California Parklet is more than just a park; it's a community hub that plays host to a variety of citywide events, neighborhood festivals, and year-round recreational activities. Whether you're in the mood for a relaxing stroll, a spirited run through scenic pathways, or participating in one of the many engaging events, this parklet offers something for everyone, 365 days a year.
Our park is maintained through the collaborative efforts of the Department of Public Works and Citiparks, who together oversee nearly 3,800 acres of parkland across 163 parks in Pittsburgh. This ensures that Marshall-California Parklet remains a beautiful and welcoming space for all to enjoy.
The Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD) plays a crucial role in funding and supporting our park, along with many other regional attractions. RAD's investment has helped ensure that our parks are safe, vibrant, and well-maintained spaces for community gathering and enjoyment. Since its inception, RAD has contributed over $150 million in operating and capital grants to the region's parks.
The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, a non-profit organization founded in 1996, is another vital partner in our mission. Through their dedicated efforts, they have raised over $130 million and completed more than 22 major park improvement projects. Their work with thousands of volunteers and their programming for over 7,500 children annually have significantly enhanced our park system.
Marshall-California Parklet is a testament to the power of community and collaboration. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, partners, and volunteers for their unwavering support. For more information about our partners and their contributions, visit [RAD](https://www.radworkshere.org/) and [Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy](https://pittsburghparks.org/).
