"Best church. The people there are great."
"Such a beautiful church the members are all very friendly and welcoming. I attended a memorial service for 2 of my family members here and the service was beautiful and very well set up."
"I find this church to be very warm and welcoming. The congregation is diverse and engaging. It seems there’s a special emphasis put on the children of the church. I found that the congregation is very genuine in their concern for each other. The church pastor, Rev. Dr. Donna Givner Johnson is a perfect fit for this congregation. A lot of Her sermons really hit home. The music on Sunday mornings is quite often off the hook. Tim Heavner the music minister is far above the average Presbyterian music minister. He and Donna provide many extraordinary Sunday services. There are young people and older people that attend this church, some members some nonmembers but all genuinely friendly. Pastor Donna seems to give special attention to the ministry for the children. The children play a part in the Sunday services. I have attended other churches where the children seemed to be shunned, and pushed out-of-the-way. Black, brown, white, Gay and straight all , “ALL”, are welcome at this church. For Real."
"Had a meeting there, was very nice area."
"They practice what the pastor preaches: feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the prisoner, ... Joyful worship services, inspiring sermons, but most importantly faith in action. Congregation is multi-generational, old and young, and actively involved in the church's mission. This is the church you've been looking for!"
