"My parents and i could not have asked for a better experience. Nancy and Lisa were absolutely out of this world to work with. They both made a stressful situation for all, extremely easy and the compassion they both have for their job and the Forest Park Village in Cranberry PA is truly commendable I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to live in the area talk with Nancy and Lisa they will both go above and beyond the call of duty. We feel we truly blessed to cross paths with both of these ladies and look forward conversing with them and building an even stronger relationship over the years. Nancy & Lisa - The two of you are certainly a breath of fresh air in this crazy world. You both need to be recognized for your compassion, work ethic and overall greatness. Thank you for all you do each an every day!"
"Where to begin? First the positives - the neighborhood is clean, quiet, has friendly neighbors, tucked away from the main roads and is in a premier school district. When we moved in, the home was filthy. There was a brown water stain on the living room ceiling, the inside of the kitchen cabinets were filthy and had salt, sugar and rice in them and the exterior of the kitchen cabinets were greasy. The master bathroom towel bar was being held in the wall by a bunched up paper towel. The laminate floors were also filthy, one bathroom sink had a huge burn mark on it presumably from a curling iron and the bedroom doors were hung improperly and wouldn't stay closed. I could go on and on and on with the maintenance issues that should have been done and should have been caught by the property manager before leasing the home. Maintenance is almost impossible to get in touch with since they NEVER answer calls and voicemail is full. While we lived there three years, the property went through three property managers. The property managers, all three, were unprofessional, made themselves scarce by never answering phone calls, never returning calls and never returning e-mails. The most recent property manager, Nancy, was extremely rude, never followed through on anything and did nothing to facilitate getting anything done in the rental. Residents are responsible for cutting grass, shoveling snow and pretty much completing their own maintenance. Towards the end of our lease we had several on-going maintenance issues that we had called and sent numerous e-mails about that were never addressed. The property manager stated in a rare e-mail to stop by the office to schedule for the maintenance, one of which was the towel bar continually coming out of the wall in the master bathroom. When my husband went to the office to make arrangements, as soon as he walked in to the office, the manager told him to stop and not come any closer. Being caught off guard and puzzled, my husband stopped. The manager then proceeded to yell that she was sick and tired of all of our issues, which were routine maintenance that should have been completed in a timely manner, but had been ongoing for months and months. I had had a horrible accident a week or so prior to this day and she told my husband that my injuries were probably fake and she tried to say that my husband broke the front door to the management office, even though there is a video camera, and she had nothing to back up her claim. She told my husband that we'd be hearing from her attorney. About a week later we received a letter from the manager stating they would not be renewing our lease and we had approximately two months to vacate. No reason was given for the non-renewal in the letter and it was not an eviction notice. We were shocked because we ALWAYS paid our rent in full and on time, kept the rental and property looking nice and were never disruptive to our neighbors. We tried contacting the corporate office multiple times with no luck. We moved out, which was a blessing in disguise. My advice DO NOT MOVE HERE. Management is unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Maintenance staff is inept and getting any maintenance completed is damn near impossible. You will absolutely regret it."
"Horrible customer service and the office is near impossible to get a hold of. We originally submitted an application early July and had an issue with that payment so we resubmitted the application again July 15th. After countless times trying to follow up, we just got fed the usual, "No update" from them. We talked to their sister company in Fox Chapel who stated the application should take no longer than a week, but now we are nearly 4 weeks with no answer on our application and are set to move out of our house tomorrow, 8/3. If this is how they treat you during the application process alone, one can imagine the awful communication if you were to live here."
"Management is evil, vindictive and a liar. They will take your money in any way they can. No care for people what so ever. Maintenance issues with the place you are renting is not taken care of, then they try to say- even though you are renting and do not own the trailer, but because it's a mobile home park then the maintenance falls on you. Never heard of such a thing. Maintenance was incompetent and gerry rigged if they did decide to fix something. Maintenance also had a side job of taking people's things from the trash and or your porch and selling it. Very unprofessional. Do not live here you will regret it."
"i'll start with the positive. its quiet, and yards are kept, almost no solicitors but overall a terrible place to live. don't expect your security deposit back. The manager drives around the neighborhood taking pictures of your cars and property without telling you. our security deposit was stolen by these swindlers when we weren't given a full 30 days since written notice before moving out so they charged us for a whole extra month before we moved out after cleaning and making minor repairs to the place. they have a limit on how many days friends and family can visit. the roads are in terrible condition and are rarely plowed or maintained in the winter. the furnace died in our rental one winter, we have children and it took them 8 days to send someone to fix it. the rent had increased over $100 in the 5 years we lived here. they have mandatory home inspections yearly where men in boots trudge through your home tracking in snow and mud while they treat you like your a slave living in their quarters. also what they call the "park" in the community is a rusted swings that you have to walk through peoples yards to get to and is littered with old beer cans, scrap metals, rusted bicycles, its pitiful. we were charged to have the mailbox key replaced and the lock replaced for $40 because the previous tenant didn't return their key. they conduct background checks but for the first 3 years we lived here they let a registers sex offender live two doors down from our rental without ever telling us of this before we started living there. the Park manager is specifically condescending, I've had to on multiple times contact their corporate to have a late fee on our rent waived because we were not late, we were simply being hassled by the park management for whatever reason. most of my neighbors who own their home admit that it was a huge mistake buying a home in forest park. please don't make the same mistake i did, do not buy or rent in this community. their tactic is to make you believe its nice until you buy and learn the truth. talk to some people in the community before you buy or rent they will say the same. P.S. meth labs have been busted in this neighborhood in the past and they have let sex offenders live in there without telling you despite the background check."
