"This embassy deserves a 0 star rating. They never answer the phone to help people. I am afraid to just send my passport like that. I have to do my best to reach out to president Felix to remove whoever is in charge and the entire staff. I am pretty sure a lot of Congolese people would want to take their jobs and be serious. The entire staff needs to be fired."
"The Place and area and the employees are truly great! However, the only problem is that it's tough to book an appointment because the receptionist never answers the call, which can be especially challenging when you're in a faraway state. it can be a bit frustrating, but overall, they are still great peoples."
"I wish I Could give zero star, Shame on you. People with no respect, zero communication with your customer. How come you confirmed an appointment and yet on your website you said that your office will be close that day. Un pays vraiment corrompus from top to bottom."
"What a radical change, in the right direction! Back in 2017, it took me a month... yes, you heard it..., a month to get someone just pickup the phone at this embassy. I needed to get a document notarized and sent to Congo. I mailed them everything, fee payment included. Despite finally finding someone over the phone, the person would tell me they had not seen the document. I insisted that the post office reported the document as "delivered", and I gave them the name of the embassy employer who signed the receipt of my mail (I paid for that option at USPS). They finally admitted to having received it, but never sent it back about two weeks later (in addition to the one month in limbo), until I decided to travel to Congo instead, as the deadline for the document approached so badly. The document landed my mail box in US two weeks into my stay in Kinshasa... This time, however, all is very different. (1) I was able to talk to embassy over the phone twice, and there was a person to pickup the phone at the first call, each time. (2) I mailed the embassy a travel document application, which they received on Friday. I expected the document be sent to me within a maximum 1 week (based on the estimate received over the phone). Big surprise, they signed it and mailed the same day... and I got the document in mail by Sunday morning!!! I command you for this change. Keep up the good work!"
"Positive notes: - The embassy was greatly prompt to send me back my passport with a list of missing document I forgot to include; - Good processing time: 7 days! - The gentleman I got on the phone from the provided number was splendid, professional, understanding, patient and just awesome! Negative note (when I applied long distance): - Someone thought my passport would have walked out of the embassy and mail itself after visa was granted. Took them a week to realize someone needed to send it."
