"They are very efficient and nice. I had a very tight time frame, and they were the only place that was willing and able to complete my task for me in time! I would 100% recommend them and I would use them in the future!"
"Jeremy C. Sharp of Voors & Kenefick, P.C., Engaged law firm to secure legal representation for a landlord-tenant lawsuit. Regrettably, an attorney who proved neither forthright nor well-versed in landlord-tenant law. Instead of pursuing the landlord lawsuit, I specifically requested, he veered off course. No meeting occurred before or after the trial date on 08/22/23 to go over evidence. Jeremy Sharp forwarded emails from landlords & their attorneys despite explicit instructions not to communicate with the 2nd rental home landlords & their attorney. Critical information from these landlords was never shared with tenants. Charging staggering $24 to send 1 email. Choosing Jeremy Sharp meant entrusting disability income of $2,575 to an attorney who failed to deliver expected services. Anyone seeking legal assistance, advice is unequivocal: steer clear of Jeremy Sharp as an attorney. Assertion that client is overwhelming Jeremy with information & diluting message is unfounded. Client’s prerogative to ensure that attorney is fully informed about their circumstances. Given their disability, they expected attorney’s attentiveness to their concerns rather than dismissal as irrelevant. Mismanagement of case is evident. Instead of prioritizing client's rights as a disabled tenant, Jeremy appears to be more concerned with the landlord's interests. Jeremy’s explanation regarding the landlord's rent increase authority is irrelevant. The client hired you to safeguard their rights, not to rationalize the landlord's actions. Jeremy’s lack of timely communication and apparent inability to manage emails are deeply troubling. The relegation of the client's emails to your junk folder highlights Jeremy’s lack of diligence in addressing critical matters associated with the case. Moreover, cooperation with the new landlord's attorney and Jeremy’s eagerness to facilitate inspections at the new property without considering the client's well-being is profoundly disappointing. The suggestion that the client outline a departure date is unreasonable, given their ongoing health issues and the challenging circumstances they face. The remark about not tailoring advice to what the client wants to hear underscores your disconnect from their needs. They engaged your services for legal expertise, not for you to dictate their choices or disregard their concerns. Jeremy’s legal representation has egregiously fallen short of even the most rudimentary expectations. The client contacted Voors & Kenefick, P.C. with the expectation of strong legal representation in their pursuit of justice against rental home landlords and filing a lawsuit against two landlords for two rental homes. However, Jeremy’s services have been far from totally inadequate and unacceptable. Despite the outrageous and exorbitant bill of $2,575, Jeremy has failed to provide the client with the essential face-to-face meeting to review evidence. Case involves critical issues such as "Illegal and Unlawful Detainer," and “Illegal Eviction," severe violations of both rental home leases spanning from 06/2022 to 10/2023, and blatant intentional breaches of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA). Multiple landlord’s discrimination, harassment, landlord retaliation, landlord’s failure to keep the rental premises habitable. Given the myriad ways in which Jeremy has failed to uphold Jeremy’s responsibilities as their attorney, the client has made the decision to terminate your attorney-client relationship, effective immediately. It is manifestly clear that Jeremy lack the capability to provide the level of representation they require. Jeremy’s inappropriate complaints about disabled client’s medical symptoms, and Jeremy’s apparent delusions that he represent both rental home landlords rather than the disabled client, reveal a shocking ignorance of Virginia landlord-tenant law even for an attorney with a law degree. Be aware that client is filing formal complaint with the Virginia State Bar against Jeremy Sharp without hesitation!"
"My Attorney Brian O'Laughlin was amazing! He took my reckless driving ticket which was in Chesterfield VA one of the toughest counties on speeding and got me knocked down to a 100 fine and regular speeding ticket. I was looking at 12 months of jail ,licensed suspension and 2500 in fines... Brian is the man you want on your side !! Forever grateful"
"Excellent communication, courteous, professional. They make you feel truly valued at Voors & Kenefick! A lifetime of thanks."
"Highly recommend! I had a thousand questions on a land purchase and Nevin was patient and thorough in discussing the options. They assisted us in the most economical and efficient way to close the deal. Would not hesitate to use this firm again!"
