"I had gone to great lengths to schedule my mother's appointment with Dr. Burns back in March, for May 27th. A couple of weeks before the scheduled appointment, the appointment was cancelled for no apparent reason and the admin staff never bothered contacting the patient. After speaking with their customer service, it was suggested that we sign up for telemed visit because Dr. Burns had no appointments for months out. This way, my mother could become an established patient and get to see Dr. Burns in person within a reasonable timeframe. This appointment was scheduled for July 17th and only today a letter was issued that the appointment was cancelled because a new patient visit needs to be in-person. They never called, just sent a generic notice via MyChart. Dr. Burns has specific skillset, but either she doesn't care or is not aware of a horrible service provided by her administrative staff. It is a disgrace to treat a new patient this way."
