"I’m very impressed by the professionalism and kindness of Michelle Aldazabal, RN, BSN(Surgery Unit Ellison,7). She is very attentive, quick responsive to the needs of her patients which makes our staying in the hospital much easier. Her knowledge and the level of practical skills make us happy and more confident in our speedy full recovery.Thank you, Michelle and all medical staff of MGH"
"The doctors and nurses are world class. Every single person was wonderful for my mom’s 3 week stay. Everyone really cares and it’s obvious they take pride in their jobs. I got t know all the nurses and doctors and really trusted them with my sweet mother."
"I took my husband with 103 f temperature, it took a couple hours to take care of him, he had ct scan with results of blood in the urine. He was seating in a chair since 11.50pm to 10.30 am next day. They sent him home with every 4 hours high fever and just Tylenol, no antibiotics and he still has high fever and shaking. Why the doctors not prescribed antibiotics, they are more worry about suit than save lives. Thanks MGH for nothing."
"Great Doctors and most nurses, horrible management. Communication between departments is lacking. At check in for surgery, not on list at admissions, had to physically chase down doctors to get ball rolling. If you have trouble with other patients noises , doctors, visitors etc. do not come here. Hospital is over 80% double rooms. If you can get a single room much better experience. We have had both so we can make a proper comparison. I can only give 1 star for this visit. I gave 5 for our last."
"Last summer I ended up in the ICU for 6 days with a pulmonary embolism. All the staff were wonderful, especially the nurses who changed my chux pads. Multiple doctors came to talk to me about my options, and I felt reassured that I was in good hands. I was put in a catheter-directed thrombolysis study. My medical team explained the procedure in ways that my oxygen-deprived lungs could understand, and before I knew it I was rushed to the OR. My follow-up care at MGH has been exceptional. I see a cardiologist and hematologist regularly now, but I am grateful to be alive thanks to the wonderful staff at MGH. You all rock!"
